We received a brief race report from the opening of the newly resurfaced Barceloneta RC Speedway that now features a new larger layout. Kyosho team driver Geovannie Gonzalez took the TQ spot by 7 seconds, but unfortunately the rain came down before the finals and the race was cancelled, so the results were taken from qualifying giving Gonzalez the win ahead of Team Magic racer Miguel Daumont in 2nd place, while 3rd place went to Xray driver Fernando Mendez. Round 2 of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Championship 1/8 circuit took place at “Hernan Matticoli track” last weekend, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ronde 2 de Buenos Aires métropolitaines de Championnat 1 / 8 circuit a eu lieu à "Hernan Matticoli track" le week-end dernier, à Buenos Aires, Argentine. This new track, which was built two months ago, is considered to be one of the best tracks in South America. Cette nouvelle piste, qui a été construit il ya deux mois, est considérée comme une des meilleures pistes en Amérique du Sud. Sebastián Recio, the Argentine Sirio and Kyosho pilot, took the pole position followed by team mate Juan Pablo Glovic in 2nd place. The race followed the same pattern as qualifying and in the end the win went to Recio, while Glovic took 2nd with 3rd place going to Adrián Frigerio. We received a brief report from Motonica on last weekend’s first Austrian Championship race that was held at the Kirchberg track, host of this years European 1/8th ‘B’ Championships. Nous avons reçu un bref rapport de Motonica sur le week-end dernier la première course du Championnat autrichien qui a eu lieu au Kirchberg voie, hôte de cette année européenne 1/8th «B» Championnats. The race was won by Herfried Pucher driving the P8.0R, less than a lap ahead of Serpent driver Harald Hofer in 2nd while 3rd spot went to Kyosho racer Thomas Sutrich, who was a lap further back. La course a été remportée par Herfried Pucher P8.0R la conduite, moins d'un tour avant de Serpent conducteur Harald Hofer à la 2ème place tandis que 3ème sont allés à Kyosho coureur Sutrich Thomas, qui a été un tour plus loin. The first round of the Austrian Electric Touring car Nationals were held recently at the RMC track in Vienna. Practice took place on Friday and Saturday under dry conditions and this allowed the drivers present plenty of time to perfect their setups for qualifying. Swauger & Burch wins RAMS 40th race Swauger & Burch RAMS 40ème Victoires de race Categories - Events, Gas, On Road, Racing - comments closed
The RAMS club of Northern California, located in Santa Clara just south of San Francisco, had a race to celebrate the clubs 40th year of continuous running. For this race they had a full turnout of 130 entrants for both sedan 10th scale and 8th scale which included some old members who were invited out to the race and as a result many past members showed up and brought out their old cars and radio gear. Round one of the BRCA Touring car Nationals took place at Aldershot and it was Yokomo racer, and Un tour de la voiture de tourisme BRCA nationaux a eu lieu à Aldershot et il est Yokomo coureur, et defending Champion Champion de la défense , Chris Grainger who was the early pace setter in the modified class. , Chris Grainger qui a été le début de rythme dans le setter modifiés classe. Leg 3 went in favour of Olly but Chris had done enough in the first 2 legs to take the overall victory with Olly 2nd and Ben Cosgrove 3rd. Round 2 of the BRCA British 1/8th scale circuit National Championships took place at the Halifax track last weekend. Ronde 2 du BRCA britannique 1/8th échelle circuit Championnats nationaux a eu lieu à Halifax la piste le week-end dernier. Qualifying, which was run on a damp track, saw Serpent driver Mark Green claim the pole position in front of team mate Tim Wood in 2nd and Mugen racer Andy North 3rd.
