Peter Jovanovic sluit zich aan bij de Röntgenstraal van het Team Categories - Xray, On Road, Racing, Drivers - 1 comment so far
De röntgenstraal heeft aangekondigd dat hoogste Australische Reizende autoracer Peter Jovanovic zich bij Röntgenstraal heeft aangesloten om hun NT1 en chassis T2008' te rennen. Één van jongste Australië en het meest gevierd op wegKampioenen, heeft hij een lang koord van Staat en Nationale titels, evenals eindigt een 3de plaats bij de 200mm van 2006 Kampioenschappen van de Wereld.
Het toetreden de Röntgenstraal van het Team is een reusachtige stap in mijn het rennen carrière geweest, heb ik mijn oog op Röntgenstraal voor een tijdje nu gehad en het is een reusachtige hulp die en samen met zulk een hoge prestaties rennende team toetreedt werkt. Ik had T2008 getest en zijn zachtheid en consistentie waren het eerste ding dat me maakte weten dat de Röntgenstraal een groot effect gaat maken bij mijn het rennen en me verder nemen een andere stap. Dank aan de ModelAuto's van de Röntgenstraal en van de Douane voor het maken van dit allen mogelijk.

Na in de voetstappen van zijn Tamiya teampartner Jilles Groskamp, Heeft Viktor Wilck een overeenkomst ondertekend om de motoren van de Hartstocht van de Snelheid voor de rest van het seizoen, met een optie voor 2009 te gebruiken. Vroeger lopend met de eenheden van Orion van het Team, de Zweedse bestuurder die won Kop DHI vroeger op het jaar, gebruikte de nieuwe motoren voor het eerst bij vorige weekends Ras LRP waarin hij in 3de positie eindigde.

Het EFRA Gehomologeerde Spoor van 1:8 IC van Organismen Categories - Gas, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed 
Op Vrijdag publiceerden wij de lijst van goedgekeurd 1/10ste schaal lichaams shells en meegedeeld iedereen dat EFRA in het controleren van deze om ervoor te zorgen zeer strikt zal zijn dat zij inderdaad goedgekeurde EFRA zijn. Wij hebben nu een gelijkaardige lijst van 1/8ste shells van het schaallichaam, van Sander DE Graaf ontvangen, die ons ook dat meedeelt in een EFRA gesanctioneerde gebeurtenis te concurreren het aantal van de lichaamshomologatie in het lichaam moet worden in reliëf gemaakt, dat door het woord „EFRA“ is voorafgegaan. Wanneer dit niet het geval is, zult u niet dat bodyshell bij een ras mogen gebruiken EFRA, zelfs als het in het verleden was goedgekeurd.

The opening round of the BRCA 1/10th scale 200mm Nationals was held last weekend at the Aldershot track under dry but very overcast conditions. Qualifying for the 45 drivers present, saw Serpent racer Mark Green take the top qualifying position in front of new Xray signing Darren Johnson in 2nd and his team mate Mark Gilliland in 3rd. In the final it was Johnson that got the holeshot with Mark slotting into the 2nd spot, and the 2 would battle it out for the entire race, swapping the lead a number of times. It looked like it would be a super close finish but a small mistake by Darren going on to the straight allowed Mark through and he could push a bit more to extend the lead at the end to about 4 seconds in front of the Johnson, with Gilliland having a steady run in 3rd a lap further back.

Marc Rheinard wins the LRP Masters Categories - Events, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed 
Tamiya factory driver, and former World Champion, Marc Rheinard has taken the LRP Masters title this weekend in Eppelheim, Germany. Qualifying for the Masters class saw the pole position also go to the German racer who placed his TRF416 ahead of his 2 team mates, Viktor Wilck from Sweden and Jilles Groskamp from Holland, with last years winner Juho Levanen in 4th. The finals saw a dominant performance by the pole man, Marc taking the win in the frst 2 finals to claim the overall title before the last round of finals were run. The 3rd leg was won by Groskamp, the ETS Rd2 winner, helped by a little mistake from Rheinard allowing him into the lead, the result allowing him to take the runner up spot, just in front of Wilck in 3rd, giving Tamiya the complete podium.

EFRA Homologated Bodies 1:10 IC Track Categories - Gas, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The EFRA Chairman for 1/10th IC Track, Franky Noens, has contacted us to inform everyone that EFRA will be very strict in checking bodyshells to ensure that they are indeed EFRA approved. When buying a bodyshell, you must always look if the homologation number is embossed in the body, preceeded by the word “EFRA”. If this is not the case, you will not be allowed to use that bodyshell at an EFRA race, even if it had been approved in the past.

Neil Diver wins Rd1 of UK 1/8th Nats Categories - Serpent, Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
Serpent have a report on the opening round of the 2008 1/8th scale On road British National Championships that kicked off over the Easter weekend at the very fast Brookland Circuit in Kent. Saturday’s practice saw drivers faced with a mixture of rain, hail and sunshine but on race day most drivers had the opportunity to test on a dry track but had to contend with very cold air temperatures of only 2C and later damp conditions. Defending Champion Mark Green with his Serpent 960 took the top qualifier spot after 3 round of wet qualifying with team-mate Neil Diver second fastest. In the A final the lead was held by 4 different drivers during the 30-minute encounter with Serpent driver Neil Diver holding it when it counted most to take victory by 10 seconds from Chris Heath in 2nd with Iain Milford in 3rd, a lap further down.

ETS Holland - Marc Fischer confirmed Categories - ETS, Events, On Road, Racing - comments closed 
The organisers of the 3rd round of the Much More backed European Touring Series are delighted to confirm that Corally factory driver Marc Fischer will be present at the event. The first outdoor event of the series, it will be held at the World famous MACH track in Heemstede, just outside Amsterdam in the Netherlands and joining the current German touring and 1/12th scale National Champion will be round 2 winner Jilles Groskamp, competing on his home track.
