Serpent are reporting that their team in Cyprus concluded another almost perfect weekend in during Round 2 of the Cyprus Nitro Challenge as the ‘Dream Team’ completed a 1-2 finish in the A-final. The 2nd round of the Puerto Rico National Championships was run last weekend at the country’s Isabela Track. A 2 ª rodada do Campeonato Nacional de Porto Rico foi executado na semana passada, o país da Isabela Track. Seen as the warm up race for the World Championship held on the same track in November, this years running of the TITC in Thailand was very well attended by factory teams from around the World. Encarada como a aquecer corrida para o Campeonato Mundial realizado na mesma pista em novembro, este ano funcionamento do TITC na Tailândia foi muito bem atendidos pela fábrica equipas de todo o Mundo. Run on a tight smooth circuit under warm conditions, qualifying saw Xray racer Teemu Leino set down the fastest runs to take the top qualifier spot with 3 round wins in front of former World Champion Atsushi Hara in 2nd and current European Champion Ronald Volker in 3rd, both racing the Hot Bodies Cyclone. Correr em um circuito apertado suave quente sob condições, qualificando viu Xray racer Teemu Leino estabelecidos o mais rápido corre para assumir o topo qualificador local, com 3 vitórias na rodada frente do ex-campeão Mundial Atsushi Hara na 2 ª e actual campeão europeu Ronald Volker em 3o, Ambas as corridas Hot Órgãos Cyclone. The finals were easy for Teemu, who could win the first 2 to claim the overall win with 1 final left to be run. Xray have a report from round 1 of the Korea On road Race Grand Prix series that was run last weekend at the Girina Raceway in Kyunggi-do, Seoul. Last weekend saw the 19 turn British 1/12th scale GP run in Hereford, where the organisers created a challenging layout that was very unforgiving and punished small errors very heavily. Qualifying saw the TQ spot go to Russ Williams but he suffered worse luck in the 3 leg finals, crashing out of the third leg while leading. Qualificação viu o TQ spot ir para Russ Williams, mas ele sofreu pior sorte na 3 perna finais, bater para fora da terceira etapa, enquanto conduzem. In the first leg of the A-final the win went to Corally racer Chris Kerswell ahead of Matt White with Mark Stiles in 3rd. The 2nd final saw a battle between HB team mates Mick Farrell and Mark Stiles until pressure saw Mick make a mistake eventually ending in 3rd behind winner Stiles and Keith Robertson in 2nd. Xray team driver Paul LeMieux has a report from last weekends 1/10th 200mm race at the 2008 Winternats in Florida. Held on the very unforgiving Ft Myers track, the Xray team had a successful event despite Ralph Burch starting 2nd on the grid behind pole man Paolo Morganti for Serpent. Realizada no próprio imperdoável Ft Myers pista, a equipe teve um sucesso Xray evento apesar Ralph Burch partida 2o no grid por trás pólo homem Paolo Morganti para Serpent. In the end Burch managed to get ahead of Morganti and take the win by half a lap with Paul coming home in 3rd half a lap further back. No final Burch conseguiu chegar à frente de Morganti e levar a vitória por meio voltas com Paul voltar a casa em 3rd meia volta mais para trás.
Things were now spread out a bit with Ralph and I running 1&2 but Paolo was not content with 3rd and made a hard charge and was reeling me in. Now with the race winding down the order was still Ralph followed by myself and Paolo running third. The organisers of the upcoming round of the Much More backed ETS (Euro Touring Series) in Velje Denmark, which will be run from the 14th - 16th of March, have confirmed that the handout stock motor for the event will be the Team Checkpoint Money 19T Spec Motor.
