Dan Price wint Rd2 van de Israëlische Liga van 2007 Categories - Events, Xray, Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed
De röntgenstraal heeft een rapport over hun plaats van de tweede ronde van de Israëlische Liga van 2007 dat bij het ramat-Eishay spoor in Israël werd gehouden. Na het kwalificeren van 3de Dan slaagde Price om tot de bovenkant te vechten erin en te nemen wint tegen 4.5 seconden voor Nir Sivan die tweede met Yaniv Levi uit rond makend het podium beëindigde.
Op wat punt overviel ik Yaniv slechts dat door hem een paar hoeken later in midair moet worden overgegaan; hij sprong en landde een paar centimeters voor me†¦ één van de beste ogenblikken van de dag! Na medio-ras ontwikkelde Yaniv remproblemen zodat trok hij een beetje terug dat me en Nir om voor het lood verliet te vechten.

De bladeren Mugen van Robert Pietsch voor Herder Categories - Gas, Shepherd, On Road, International, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
De finalist en al ronde snelle bestuurder Robert Pietsch hebben van het Kampioenschap van de wereld Mugen, een fabrikant verlaten die hij met vele jaren, aan het werk en ras voor het Rennen van de Herder heeft gerend. Het rennen van de herder nam het oude Picco 1/8ste project van de schaalauto een paar over jaar rug en de auto heeft slechts minimumontwikkeling sindsdien gehad. De positie van Pietsch bij zijn nieuwe werkgever zal het ontwerpen van en het ontwikkelen van de verdere auto evenals het zijn zijn hoogste teambestuurder samen met, zoon van de eigenaar van de Herder, Patrick Schäfer impliceren. Wij hoorden dat de kwesties over welke motor Robert kon lopen terwijl het rennen vorig jaar voor Mugen zijn besluit zich veroorzaakten te bewegen.

Last weekends Florida State series race held at the Ft Myers track, dubbed the Winternats Warm up race, was won by the all new Xray NT1. Making its debut in the hands of Xray team drivers Barry Baker and Ralph Burch, the car went on to win the regional race in the hands of Baker.
After successful long term tests by XRAY factory team drivers from Europe and USA at the XRAY’s private racing tracks the NT1 has confirmed its best performance and racing pedigree just at its first race. NT1 - the art of performance.
A good start for the NT1, but we will have to wait to see it compete on the big stage before we see the true potential of this car.

Ronald Voelker wins the 2007 DHI Cup Categories - Events, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Top qualifier, Germany’s Ronald Voelker has won the 2007 running of the DHI Cup in Denmark by taking the win in his first 2 finals leaving the other racers only the runner up spots to fight for. The HotBodies racer lead home former World Champion Marc Rheinard in 2nd driving his Tamiya with current World Champion Andy Moore with another HotBodies Cyclone in 3rd. It seems that this new 5 cell ruling suits Volker and we are sure to see more from him in the future and also note worthy was that Volker won the event with a brushless system and there were 6 brushless systems in the A final.

3 Racing aluminium pinions for Mugen & Kyosho Categories - 3 Racing, Racing, Accessories, On Road, Products - comments closed
Makers of all things bling, 3 Racing have released these new hardened aluminum pinion gears for the Mugen MTX4 and the Kyosho V-one series. Available in all the expected teeth numbers for both 1st and 2nd gears, the Mugen versions are grey whilst the Kyosho versions come in blue. Not much else to know except they are available now.

H.A.R.D. Racing have released this new heavy duty pin tower tool to aid the easy replacement of the pins in your cars driveshafts. Made to press out 3mm pins, this real money saver enables you to replace the worn pins in your driveshaft and replace them with new ones, thus saving you the cost of whole new driveshafts.
Both joint cups and drive shafts get worn out very fast. However, it is expensive to replace a new set of drive shafts when only the pins are worn. To make pin replacement easier, H.A.R.D. releases this new heavy duty Pin Tower.

Ronald Voelker claims TQ at DHI Cup Categories - Events, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
German racer Ronald Voelker has claimed TQ spot for the 2007 DHI Cup held in Denmark. Leading the way from the very start of qualifying the Hot Bodies racer left the competition behind him to get the coveted pole position. Marc Rheinard, driving for Tamiya, took 2nd position in his debut race for Checkpoint while Juho Levanen took 3rd spot driving the Associated TC5 prototype. Joel Myrberg in his debut race for Associated ended his first race with the TC5 in 7th just behind Paul LeMieux, Jilles Groskamp and World Champion Andy Moore. Todays qualifying saw the 3 best runs from 5 count and some racers had problems sticking all 3 runs together such as Carpet World Cup winner Teemu Leino who didnt make the cut along with Associated racer Craig Drescher.
