Simon Reeves, driving a Team Losi XXX4 buggy, has totally dominated round 1 of the Stotfold Winter Series, held last weekend. Simon Reeves, Driving Team Losi XXX4 Buggy, hat völlig dominiert Runde 1 der Stotfold Winter Series, hielt am vergangenen Wochenende. Having TQ’d the event Simon went on to win all 3 of his finals to take the round win and the lead in the championship. TQ'd nach der Veranstaltung ging auf Simon zu gewinnen alle 3 seines Finale um die Runde gewinnen und die Führung in der Meisterschaft.
Qualifying was dominated by Simon Reeves with his Peak powered XX4. Qualifying war dominiert von Simon Reeves mit seinem Peak powered XX4. Taking all 5 rounds of qualifying In an impressive fashion Simon was the only driver to make 13 laps. Nimmt man alle 5 Runden Qualifying in beeindruckender Weise Simon war der einzige Fahrer, um 13 Runden. Second on the grid was Alec Springer who had been pushed all-day by the chasing pack of James Evans and Richard Ralph. Zweiter auf dem Spielfeld war Alec Springer, gedrängt worden war den ganzen Tag von der Jagd Packung James Evans und Richard Ralph.

LRP are reporting on their site on the success of their products in Russia and particularly the 2006 Russian Outdoor Championships that was won by 3 time National Champion Ivan Laptev. OK, i know this race took place over 3 weeks ago but it was an important race and the event report only just showed up on the Novarossi website. The Trofeo Novarossi is an annual event and a celebration of all things Novarossi and even all the factory staff are bused to the event to join in on the festivities. Die Trofeo Novarossi ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung und eine Veranstaltung, bei der alle Dinge Novarossi und auch alle Mitarbeiter der Fabrik sind bused an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen an der Feste. This year it took place at the Gubbio track in Italy and as it turned out Novarossi’s returning prodigal son Lamberto Collari won the event ahead of Euro B champion Andrea Cristiani and Worlds finalist Walter Salemi in third position. In diesem Jahr fand auf der Spur Gubbio in Italien und wie sich herausstellte Novarossi's Rückkehr verlorene Sohn Lamberto Collari gewann die Veranstaltung vor der Euro-B-Champion Andrea Cristiani und Welten Finalist Walter Salemi an dritter Stelle.

More RC Pro Series news, this time its the turn of the off road guys or in this case, guy, as top international racer Adam Drake took the title in both the Buggy and Truck classes. The event also played host to the Expert Sedan Nationals that was TQ’d and won by Ron Atomic (best super hero name ever) who also claimed the overall national title too. Fredy Andres wins Rd7 of Carioca Championships Fredy Andres gewinnt Rd7 der Carioca Meisterschaften Categories - Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Fredy Andres has won round 7 of the Carioca Championships that were held last weekend in Brazil. Fredy Andres gewann Runde 7 der Carioca Meisterschaften, die vom letzten Wochenende in Brasilien. The penultimate round of the championships Fredy won the pro buggy class driving a GS ahead of Helio Mattos with a Thunder Tiger in 2nd with Kyosho racer Ricardo Queros in 3rd. Die vorletzte Runde der Meisterschaften Fredy gewann die Pro-Buggy-Klasse Führen eines GS vor Helio Mattos mit einem Thunder Tiger im 2. Kyosho Racer mit Ricardo Queros in 3rd. The last round of the championship takes place next week and all three classes are still wide open after 7 races. Die letzte Runde der Meisterschaft findet nächste Woche und alle drei Klassen sind nach wie vor weit offen nach 7 Rennen.

Just a quick post to mention that last weekend the 2006 Tamiya World Championships were held at a large indoor exhibition hall in Shizouka, Japan. Just a quick post zu erwähnen, dass am vergangenen Wochenende die 2006 Tamiya-Weltmeisterschaften fanden in einer großen Indoor-Halle in Shizouka, Japan.
