Simon Reeves wint Rd1 de Reeks van de Winter van Stotfold Categories - Events, Electric, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Simon Reeves, die een Team Losi XXX4 drijft met fouten, heeft totaal om 1 van de Reeks van de Winter Stotfold, gehouden vorig weekend overheerst. Hebbend TQ' D ging de gebeurtenis Simon alle 3 van zijn def. winnen om de ronde te nemen wint en het lood in het kampioenschap.
Het kwalificeren werd overheerst door Simon Reeves met zijn Piek aangedreven XX4. Het nemen van alle 5 rondes van het kwalificeren op een indrukwekkende manier Simon was de enige bestuurder om 13 overlappingen te maken. Tweede op het net was Aanzetsteen Alec die alle-dag door het het achtervolgen pak van James Evans en Richard Ralph was geduwd.

Ivan Laptev overheerst de Russische OpenluchtKampioenschappen Categories - LRP, Electric, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
LRP rapporteert over hun plaats op het succes van hun producten in Rusland en in het bijzonder de Russische OpenluchtKampioenschappen van 2006 dat door 3 keer Nationale Kampioen Ivan Laptev werden gewonnen. Ivan, die met een brushless motor LRP gebruikt, heeft zijn derde opeenvolgende openluchttitel op de rug van net eveneens heeft genomen de Binnen Nationale titel gevangen.
Zoals in de meeste andere landen wereldwijd kunnen racers in Rusland tussen een brushless of geborstelde krachtbron kiezen. Zonder twijfel, vertrouwde op Ivan in de Brushless Technologie LRP en gaf geen kans aan zijn tegenstanders. In een totale overheersing, won Ivan alle kwalificatielooppas, plaatsten alle drie a-Leidingen en ook de snelste overlappingstijd!

O.K., weet ik dit ras meer dan 3 weken plaatsvond geleden maar het was een belangrijk ras en het gebeurtenisrapport verscheen slechts enkel op de website Novarossi. Trofeo Novarossi is een jaarlijkse gebeurtenis en een viering van alle dingen Novarossi en zelfs al fabriekspersoneel worden per bus vervoerd aan de gebeurtenis zich bij op de festiviteiten binnen aan te sluiten. Dit jaar vond het bij het spoor Gubbio in Italië plaats en aangezien het bleek won de terugkerende prodigal zoon Lamberto Collari van Novarossi de gebeurtenis voor de Euro kampioen Andrea Cristiani van B en de finalist Walter Salemi van Werelden in derde positie.

More RC Pro Series news, this time its the turn of the off road guys or in this case, guy, as top international racer Adam Drake took the title in both the Buggy and Truck classes. In the 1/8th buggy class, he edged out Futaba Nitro Challenge winner Taylor James and Chad Bradley to the title whilst in 1/10th truck Adam beat Kyle Skidmore and Cody King to the series title.

Last weekend the RC Pro Series had their final gas on road race at the Gulf Coast Raceway, a race that was TQ’d by Paris Memorial winner Scott Kimbrow but won by Dave Campbell. This result didn’t affect the final outcome of the championship however which ended with Mugen racer Jeremy Cupps taking the National title ahead of fellow Mugen racer Terry Brown with Kyosho team racer Scott Kimbrow ending his campaign in third.
The event also played host to the Expert Sedan Nationals that was TQ’d and won by Ron Atomic (best super hero name ever) who also claimed the overall national title too.

Fredy Andres wins Rd7 of Carioca Championships Categories - Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Fredy Andres has won round 7 of the Carioca Championships that were held last weekend in Brazil. The penultimate round of the championships Fredy won the pro buggy class driving a GS ahead of Helio Mattos with a Thunder Tiger in 2nd with Kyosho racer Ricardo Queros in 3rd. The last round of the championship takes place next week and all three classes are still wide open after 7 races.

2006 Tamiya World Championships, Japan Categories - Events, Tamiya, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Just a quick post to mention that last weekend the 2006 Tamiya World Championships were held at a large indoor exhibition hall in Shizouka, Japan. The annual event featured many different classes as well as many different nationality of racers, and Japanese website RC Car Trend were there and have results and lots of images from the race which you can view here.

Brunet wins Rd1 of French 1/12th Nationals Categories - Electric, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Our partner site RC infos has a brief report on the 1st round of the French 1/12th Nationals that took place at Bonneville last weekend. Pierre-François Brunet driving an Associated RC12L4 took the win ahead of Corally racer Arnaud Constanty with Mathias Rascol again driving an Associated in third.
