The 4th round of the Norwegian Winter Series took place this past weekend hosted by Borg MRK, who presented the racers with a small and tricky circuit to race on. A 4 ª rodada do norueguês Winter Series teve lugar esta semana passado hospedado por MRK Borg, que apresentou os pilotos, com uma pequena e delicada no circuito de corrida. In qualifying for the modified class it was Adrian Berntsen that claimed the TQ spot in front of his Xray team mate Helge Johannessen in 2nd while the 3rd starting spot would be taken by Eirik Andreassen. Na qualificação para a classe foi modificada Adrian Berntsen alegou que o TQ local na frente de sua equipe Xray mate Helge Johannessen no 2 º enquanto a 3 ª partida no local seriam tomadas por Eirik Andreassen. The SuperStock (19 turn) class saw the best starting field so far this year, and all racers were out to stop Kyosho racer Marcus Alvestad’s winning streak, having won the last 2 rounds. O SuperStock (19 volta) classe viu a melhor partida campo até agora este ano, e todos os pilotos foram para fora para parar Kyosho racer Marcus Alvestad's vencedora seqüência, venceu o 2 últimas rondas. Marcus however was still the man to beat in qualifying, taking the top spot in front of Petter Berntsen with Kai Ronning in 3rd. Last weekend saw the first race of the 2008 regional season take place in the centre of Spain in a town called Valladolid. Na semana passada vi a primeira corrida da temporada 2008 regional ter lugar no centro de Espanha, em uma cidade chamada Valladolid. The weather was very windy and cold and the drivers had to contend with a slippery track, but the atmosphere was good and everybody enjoyed themselves. O tempo estava muito vento e frio e os motoristas tiveram de enfrentar uma pista escorregadia, mas a atmosfera era boa e toda a gente gostava de si. The final saw Mugen driver Daniel Vega start from pole position and he went on to win the race ahead of Losi driver Felix Zamorano in 2nd with Hoboa racer David Marcos in 3rd. O final viu Mugen motorista Daniel Vega início da pole position e ele passou a ganhar a corrida à frente do motorista Losi Felix Zamorano no 2 º com Hoboa racer David Marcos em 3o.

Horizon Hobby in the UK are delighted to announced that top off road racer Jon Hazlewood has joined their team to race Losi and Spektrum for 2008. Horizon Hobby no Reino Unido estão felizes por anunciar que a top off road racer Jon Hazlewood uniu sua equipe de corrida Losi e Spektrum para 2008. He will be using the new Spektrum DX3R, Losi 8ight and 8ight-T at all events of his choice along with this years Euros and the all important World Championships. I am leaving a very hard working team who have given me great support, but I feel it is now time for a change and some new challenges. Estou deixando um trabalho muito duro equipe que me deram grande apoio, mas penso que agora é tempo de mudança e alguns novos desafios. Losi have proven over the years that no matter what class of racing they participate in they dedicate their resources until they succeed and I want to be a part of their plans. During 2007 I watched how fast the car was and the excellent level of trackside support that Horizon UK were providing. Merlin Fuel have announced that German racer, and Serpent chief designer, Michael Salven will contest this season using their products. Michael has been 4 time European Champion, 2 time World Champion and has won lots of National titles in both 1:10th and 1:8th scale, which makes him one of the most experienced drivers around. Losi have announced that 2007 ROAR National Champion Adam Drake will campaign Mario Rossi Tuned engines from GRP through to 2010. Losi ter anunciado que 2007 ROAR National Champion Adam Drake irá campanha Mario Rossi Tuned motores de GRP até 2010. Drake joins Losi factory drivers Mike Truhe and Yannick Aigoin who have previously announced their commitment to running GRP Engines. This weekend saw the first round of the 2008 Catalunyan Championships take place in Santa Perpetua, and saw 65 racers in attendance. After the wet weather on Saturday, Sunday stayed dry but overcast and saw European Champion, and new GRP signing, Robert Batlle take the top spot for the final. Xray are reporting on the 2008 18th Scale Indoor Off-road Race of Champions that were held last Sunday at RC Madness in Enfield CT. Xray são relatórios de 2008 sobre 18o Escala Indoor Off-estrada Corrida de Campeões que foram realizadas no domingo passado em RC Madness em Enfield TC. This was the third year that this warm up race for the 18th Scale Off-road Nationals was held and attendance at the race was good with approximately 80 entries. Three rounds of qualifiers were run and then the mains and it was Zack Barry that finished the qualifiers with the TQ in all three classes entered, he also won every qualifier that he ran.
