We got word from Shepherd Racing that Recebemos palavra de que Shepherd Racing newly signed Recém-assinado team driver Daniele Ielasi won last weekend in Lucca, Italy in his first race with the Velox. The race saw 50 drivers in attendance including 2 time European Champion Dario Balestri as well as Marco Vanni and Stefano Puccinelli and after Saturday’s practice session it was clear that the battle for the win would be between Dario and Daniele. A corrida viu 50 motoristas em presença das quais 2 vez campeão europeu Dario Balestri, assim como Marco Vanni e Stefano Puccinelli e depois sabado prática da sessão ficou claro que a luta pela vitória seria entre Dario e Daniele. After 3 qualifying rounds on Sunday morning, and with drivers battling with fuel consumption, it was Balestri that took the pole position just in front of Ielasi in 2nd. Após 3 rodadas qualificadas no domingo de manhã, e com motoristas lutando com o consumo de combustível, que era Balestri que tomou a pole position em frente da Ielasi no 2o. With changes to his muffler prior to the final Daniele immediately jumped into the lead in front of Balestri, Vanni and Puccinelli and up to the first pit stop the Velox racer could increase his lead at the front of the pack. By the middle of the final there was a gap of 8 seconds between the first 2 racers but 6 minutes before the end Dario had to stop with glowplug failure while Marco Vanni also had to retire because of gearbox problems. Serpent have announced that young German racer Tobias Hepp has been signed to the Serpent Driver Development program, which aims to assist up and coming racers in their quest to reach the highest levels of the sport. Serpent ter anunciado que os jovens alemães racer Tobias Hepp, foi assinado com o Serpent Driver Desenvolvimento programa, que se destina a ajudar-se e próximos pilotos em sua busca para alcançar os mais altos níveis do esporte. 14-year-old Tobias has been racing for 5 years and has made a big impression in his home country, winning his first major RC championship title in 2004, for the past two seasons has been the German 1:8th scale Junior National Champion. 14-year-old Tobias foi corridas de 5 anos e tem feito uma grande impressão no seu país natal, ganhando o seu primeiro grande título RC campeonato, em 2004, para as duas últimas temporadas, foi o alemão escala 1:8 th National Junior Champion. Serpent have a report from their team driver Joern Neumann who was in action last weekend at the Kyosho International Indoor in Ostrava in the Czech Republic. Serpent ter um relatório de sua equipe condutor Joern Neumann, que estava em acção na semana passada no Kyosho Internacional Indoor, em Ostrava, na República Checa. The event was held in a large ice hockey arena with the surface made up of carpet and a kind of grass, which made tire choice very difficult. O evento foi realizado em um grande ice hockey arena com a superfície constituída por tapete e uma espécie de erva, o que fez pneu escolha muito difícil. Following some tire tests, Joern found the correct balance and managed to win 3 of the 4 qualifiers to take the event TQ. Após alguns testes pneu, Joern encontrado o justo equilíbrio e conseguiu vencer 3 dos 4 qualificatórias para levar o evento TQ. Once through the semis, in which he drove most of the final in 2wd after a broken drive shaft, he was able to pull out a clear lead in the main final, winning by 2 laps from Kyosho driver Daniel Reckward in 2nd and Gerhardt Frank in 3rd. Depois através dos semiprodutos, em que conduziu a maioria das finais em 2wd após a broken drive veio, ele foi capaz de puxar a uma clara liderança nas principais final, ganhando por 2 voltas de Kyosho motorista Daniel Reckward na 2 ª e na Gerhardt Frank 3o.

The first round of the Puerto Rico Championships was held last weekend in Barceloneta, with the event open to 1/8th scale and 1/10th 200mm. A primeira rodada do Campeonato de Porto Rico foi realizada na semana passada em Barceloneta, com o evento aberto a 1/8th escala e 1/10th 200 milímetros. In the 1/8 scale class it was Mugen team driver Andy Báez that took the TQ spot and in the 30 minute final the IDM powered racer took the win by 1 lap in front of Juan C. Rodríguez in 2nd and Fernando Méndez in 3rd. No 1 / 8 escala classe era Mugen equipe condutor Andy Báez, que teve o TQ local e nos 30 minutos finais do IDM powered racer tomou a vitória por 1 volta na frente de Juan C. Rodríguez na 2 ª e Fernando Méndez em 3o. In the Sedan class it was again Andy Báez that took the TQ with his Mugen but in the final finished 2nd after a long battle with Kyosho driver Geovanni Gónzalez. Na classe Sedan foi novamente Andy Báez, que teve o seu TQ com Mugen, mas no final acabado 2o após uma longa batalha com Kyosho condutor Geovanni Gónzalez. In the end of the 45 minute final the gap between to first and 2nd placed racers was 3 laps with 3rd placed Jesús M. Rivera a further 2 laps back. No final dos 45 minutos finais a diferença entre a primeira e 2 º colocados pilotos foi de 3 voltas com 3o colocado Jesús M. Rivera seguida mais 2 voltas de volta.

Last weekend saw the 6th round of the CML Carpet Thrashnals run in Chippenham and it was Hot Bodies racer Olly Jefferies that was the man to beat on the day. Na semana passada vi o 6 º rodada da CML Tapete Thrashnals executado em Chippenham e foi Hot Órgãos racer Olly Jefferies que era o homem a vencer no dia. In qualifying he ended up a lap ahead of Russ Williams in 2nd with Stu Noble in 3rd and Andrew Carter in 4th. Em qualificando ele terminou de uma volta à frente de Russ Williams no 2 º com Stu Noble na 3 ª e Andrew Carter em 4o. In the modified A final Olly shrugged off an early challenge from Russ and disappeared off in to lead to record yet another winter victory ahead of Russ in 2nd and Tom Green in 3rd. No final modificada Um Olly shrugged off cedo desafio de Russ e desapareceu em off para levar a registar mais uma vitória à frente do inverno Russ na 2 ª e Tom Green, em 3o.
