Dennis Fadtke sluit zich aan bij het HOOGSTE Rennen Categories - TOP, Electric, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Het rennende Bedrijf van de Kunst was in aanraking om ons te vertellen dat de belangrijke Duitse bestuurder Dennis Fadtke van hun team lid is geworden en nu alle producten van het bedrijf gedreven. Fadtke, die de agent omhoog in de klasse van de Voorraad bij de 2007 Kop DHI evenals een veelvoudige Nationale raswinnaar was, zal nu het HOOGSTE Rennen loodsen Zeis ARP chassis. Daarnaast zal Dennis zijn auto gebruikend de Vreemde batterijen van de Specificatie van het Team van de Macht EP4600 en de Vreemde brushless motoren van de Afwijking van de Macht aandrijven.

Het vorige weekend bij het MBC DE Sluis spoor, in het centrum van Holland, was de 5de ronde van Nederlandse 1/10ste schaal 200mm Ingezetenen. De kwalificerende bestuurder Daan Jacobs TQ van de zaagRöntgenstraal voor teampartner Maarten kan Lierop in tweede, loopt de kwalificerende zittingen die door 2 moeten worden uitgebreid meer na wat tijd die problemen houdt. In def. NK, ontmoette de poolmens Jacobs motorproblemen die hem onderaan de orde lieten vallen en Bestelwagen Lierop gaven onbetwist door 3 overlappingen voor tweede geplaatste Niels Pourchez wint, die een Serpent drijft, terwijl in 3de vlek die een Kyosho Schuurmachine Borghoff was drijft. In Nomac klassendef. was het een dichte slag tussen Ricardo van Dam en Ingeborg Gommers, met nemen van Ricardo uiteindelijk wint tegen 3 seconden, terwijl Jeroen Jemmens uit hoogste 3, 2 overlappingen terug op de leiders rond maakte.

Svensson wint Rd3 van Zweedse Kop Categories - Werks Racing, Gas, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
Werks die in contact om ons over hun succes bij vorig weekend om 3 van de Zweedse Kop geweest rent is te vertellen die in Mjölby wordt gehouden. Het kwalificeren de zaag Andreas Edvinsson doet de snelste looppas van Robert Gustafsson in tweede en Werks gesponsorde Christoffer Svensson in derde. I belangrijkste def. het was Hobao racer Svensson die weg met verder terug wint tegen 13 seconden voor jonge Kyosho racer David Ronnefalk in tweede, terwijl Losi de bestuurder Gustafsson omhoog in derde beëindigde, slechts 4 seconden kwam.

Newly formed RPM, Robert Pietsch Motorsport, have confirmed that young up and coming German racer Erik Dankel has signed to race the company’s new range of competition tires. Made by ATS these new tires helped Robert to a final position at this Summer’s European Championships in Valencia, Spain, where Erik also competed finishing in a very creditable 12th overall.

The final round of the Irish National On road Nitro Championships took place yesterday at the St. Annes track in Dublin with the main attention being on the 1:10 200mm class with the title still up for grabs. Team Serpent Ireland driver Clive Connolly, who wrapped up the 1:8 title and won the 1:10 A Final to go top of the standings at the previous round, was absent from the season finale meaning Xray driver Eoin Doran had the opportunity to snatch the title on tie break if he could take Round 6 victory, but it wasn’t to be. In qualifying it was top UK Championship racer Mark Gilliland that would TQ ahead of his Xray team-mate Doran with Team Serpent Ireland’s Keith Dempsey third. In the Final however both Gilliland and Doran would hit problems allowing Dempsey to take his first ever national win ahead of fellow Serpent 720 racer Chris Lawlor, who claimed his fourth podium of the season to finish 3rd in the final standings. Doran would eventually finish in the final podium placing but up front Dempsey’s win ensured the perfect 2008 National campaign for Connolly as he defended his 1:8 title and secured the 1:10 title at his first attempt. In the 1:8 Final Kyosho driver Austin Elliott TQ’d but his race ended on the opening lap after contact with another car broke his throttle servo. This allowed Colin Whelan’s Kyosho to go on to take the win from the Serpent pairing of Darragh Fox and Sean Doyle.

Yannick Aigoin wins Coupe de France Categories - Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed
The 2008 Coupe de France took place this weekend in Les Andelys, North West of Paris. Qualifying for the 4wd class saw Nicolas Rodriguez take the pole position ahead of Yannick Aigoin in 2nd and Jerome Aigoin in 3rd. Following the semi finals, that were each won by Jerome Aigoin and brother Yannick, it was the Jerome, driving the new Inferno MP9 that would line up on pole position for the main final. In the 45 minute final Jerome unfortunately ran into some problems that saw him finish down in 6th, 4 laps down on the eventual winner Yannick Aigoin driving a Losi 8ight, with current European Champion Renaud Savoya in 2nd for Mugen, while Xray driver Jerome Sartel claimed the last step of the podium in 3rd.

We were contacted by our good friend Scotty Ernst, who wished to inform us about an event he started a few years ago that has grown into one of their signature events at Trackside. Kicking off the 2008/09 indoor season, on October 3,4 & 5th, will be the Much More supported Stock Rubber Tire Nationals. The SRTN will feature the new Sweep tires, which have made their mark in Europe at the European Touring Series and will soon be coming to the USA. Many great things are planned for participants in the SRTN and this includes some great Much More products.
