Steven Jovanovic doubles at AARCMCC NSW IC Titles

The 2015 AARCMCC NSW IC Titles were run over the Easter weekend and unfortunately this meeting was cut short due to rain. The only day run was on the Sunday which meant the drivers could only have two 5 minute qualifiers but the finals were run as per normal. Qualifying saw Steven Jovanovic TQ in Touring car and Jeff Hamon TQ in 1/8th. The 1/8th finals were run first with Jeff taking the early lead to then have engine problems. Leigh Dytor took the lead from Steven Jovanovic which was a battle for about 8 minutes. Steven them claimed the lead to win by 2 laps to Leigh Dytor in 2nd and Kyle Hazell in 3rd. In Touring Car the first 15 minutes held some amazing racing between Jeff and Steven. The pace increased in the middle of the race which seen Steven Jovanovic win the race by 2 laps with Jeff Hamon in 2nd and Aaron Lee in close by in 3rd.

BRCA 1/8 Circuit National Championship Rd1 – Report

BRCA 1/8 Circuit National Championship Rd1 – Report

The first round of the 2015 BRCA 1/8th Circuit 2015 National Championship season was hosted by the Cotswolds Club and the weather forecast was for rain all weekend and it did not disappoint. Over the winter the field normally see a host of drivers switching teams but this year it seems to have remained static at the top. One notable change is Jason Frost switching to the Capricorn team to partner team leader Kyle Branson and Neal King. Also a host of London drivers have made the switch to Capricorn which is now becoming a very popular product down the pit lane. It was also nice to see Lee Kormer making his first appearance after missing most of last year through illness and the birth of his newborn.
