ARC R10 2013 kit

ARC introduce the R10 2013 electric touring car kit, an evolution of the original R10, winner of the Super Stock and Modified classes at the 2013 ROAR Indoor Nationals. The updated car features many improvements and performance enhancing details such as optimised chassis flex, a lower centre of gravity and reduced weight. The car builds on a 2.25mm main chassis, features a floating servo mount, all new low profile shock towers and big bore short body shock absorbers as well as new lightweight front and rear bulkheads and a new motor mount with further milled out section and better accessibility to large size pinion gears.

T.O.P. Sabre FD2 spur gear adapter

New from T.O.P. comes an optional spur gear adapter for the FD2 2WD touring car. The car was originally designed for 13.5T and 17.5T boosted racing but with zero timing classes having taken over the racing scene the use of smaller spur gears is necessary. The new adapter is designed for 64dp gears as small as 76T and not larger than 86T. It comes machined from high quality aluminium and sports T.O.P. Racing’s distinctive red anodising.

Yeah Racing TT-02 aluminium steering knuckles

Designed for Tamiya’s latest entry-level chassis are these aluminium steering knuckles from Yeah Racing. They fit the TT-02 and help to strengthen the steering system significantly. Designed as a direct replacement they come in Tamiya blue colour and offer two Ackermann ball stud positions.

Ar Bee wins at 2013 PMTC race

The PMTC 2013 electric on-road race was held in Shenzhen, China over the course of three days in F1, TC 13.5T and TC Modified classes and saw the attendance of more than 100 driver from China and Hong Kong. Hong Kong Yokomo’s Jacky took TQ in the modified class with a Yokomo BD7 but at the end of the finals it was Spec-R’s Ar Bee won the class with the Spec-R R1. Second place went to HoFai running a Serpent S411 with Patrick taking the last remaining podium spot with a Yokomo BD7.

C.Andy's WGT transformation kit

C.Andy’s from Germany introduce their World GT transformation kit for 1/12th pan cars with Team Associated front end. The kit transforms any Team Associated based 1/12th car into a World GT vehicle with 200mm track width and 260mm wheelbase. A special servo mount allows easy steering Ackermann adjustment by simply sliding the steering servo forth or back. The kit is simply attached to the existing mounting positions of the chassis and includes a news front plate, front axle brace and servo mount.

Team Muso R12WGT conversion

Team Muso introduce their World GT conversion for Yokomo’s R12 pan car kit. The set includes all parts to build a 1/10th 200mm World GT car from the R12 kit and features a new front suspension mount plate to bring the car to 200mm width, it comes with a front urethane bumper, support brace for optional side tube dampers and 4-point wheel hubs for standard size GT wheels. The conversion kit also works with Yokomo’s GT500 line of kits.

Kawada M500WGT kit

Kawada introduce the M500WGT kit, a 200mm World GT pan car chassis. The kit includes a full carbon fibre chassis with a quick release battery mount that allows for quick and easy longitudinal weight distribution changes. Also included are carbon fibre battery retainers, upper plate and power pod parts along aluminium motor mount and wheel adapter parts. The link-type chassis features two rear tube-style side dampers and comes with a fully adjustable ‘US’-style front suspension that allows for toe, camber, caster and reactive caster adjustments. The kit will hit the stores this June.

Capricorn ultra-fine height adjustment body mount

Capricorn announce the soon release of a new front body mount system for their C02 and TE01 1/10th scale vehicles. The special design allows for ultra-fine body height adjustment in 0.25mm steps while retaining a large contact surface for the body to rest on.
