JConcepts 1.9″ Vengeance trail & scale wheel

JConcepts 1.9" Vengeance trail & scale wheel

The new 1.9″ Vengeance wheel from JConcepts is a perfect complement to the array of 1.9″ trail and scale rig builds, projects and vehicles currently on the market. The 8-spoke wheel design is rather smooth, incorporating a triangle type cut-out about the centre for heavy street appeal. The design leaves the natural colour of the wheel showing inside the spokes which adds a touch of mystery and depth. In-between the spoke design rests the dividing sections which break up the pattern adding a bit of bite to the overall design. The entire face of the wheel has been plated with a silver coating which gives scaler’s a little more luxurious look to match-up to the variety of 1:1 inspired bodies on the market. Each pair of wheels includes a solid and open centre cap which brings even more detail to the wheel. Depending on the desired look or axle length of the vehicle, drivers can choose whichever is best for their individual needs. Moulded in black with a face plating, being unique is worry free as practically any paint scheme can be matched to these new wheels.

Local Champions Tour Rd1 – Report

Local Champions Tour Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the Local Champions Tour, a new race series in the South of Germany, was held at the Türkheim track in the four on-road classes of 1/8th Nitro and Electric as well as 1/10th Nitro and Electric. Due to a not-so-perfect weather forecast only 31 drivers attended Saturday’s practice and overnight rain made for a wet track on Sunday morning. The track conditions only allowed for two qualifying rounds followed by bump-up finals and triple 15 minute A-mains, a new race format that combines both nitro and electric rules. At the end of the day Tobias won the 1/8th Nitro class from Bastian Gramlich and Alexander Bremberger. The 1/8th Electric class was won by Alex Kestler, the 1/10th Nitro win went to Philipp Kieble and 1/10th Electric had Thomas Werner walking away with the overall victory. Round 2 of the series will be held in Rötz on the 27th and 28th of June.

Pro-Line pre-cut Trifecta wing & roll-up pit mat

Pro-Line pre-cut Trifecta wing & roll-up pit mat

Pro-Line have a pre-cut Trifecta Lexan wing and a roll-up pit mat available soon. From the mind of World Champion and Pro-Line team driver Ty Tessmann, the 1/8th Trifecta Lexan wing brings a huge amount of weight savings to the highest part of the buggy and massively lowers your car’s centre of gravity. This results in faster corner speeds and reduces the chance of traction rolling when faced with high-bite track conditions. The 1:8 Trifecta Lexan wing design follows the tradition set by the 1/10th buggy wing and features three strengthening ribs and three dimples that hang down on each side creating a “golf ball aerodynamic effect” under the wing for added down force and reduced high speed drag. The set included the pre-cut wing and the centre fin piece as well as two different size wickerbills to tune the performance and downforce.
