JConcepts TLR22 & 22T / 22SCT front shock towers

JConcepts have released new 4mm carbon fibre front shock towers for the TLR 22 and 22T / 22SCT. The design team has pin-pointed the exact geometry locations of the front shock tower and designed a durable and lightweight option part that is a direct bolt-on for the front-end of the popular TLR vehicles. The shock tower is 4mm in thickness and features all the stock mounting geometry in a more compact package. Reinforcement ribs have been added where needed for additional strength and mounting hardware has been included for a secure hassle free attachment. Pietsch & Dankel Top Qualifiers at ENS

Pietsch & Dankel Top Qualifiers at ENS

Robert Pietsch and Eric Dankel are the Top Qualifiers for the first ever Euro Nitro Series Race, the German duo set to lead away the 12 car A-Main grids later this evening at the Hockenheimring in Germany. While Dankel put pole position for the 45-minute 1:10 Touring final beyond the reach of his rivals in last night’s penultimate qualifier, the number 1 starting position for the 1:8 A-Main was still to play for in this morning’s fifth & final qualifier between Pietsch and Mark Green. In the end despite failing to finish Q5 it was Mugen driver Pietsch who took the honour on tie break thanks to him having a faster TQ run than that of Green, although in the final qualifier Green did post his fastest run of the weekend when he took 2nd behind Serpent team-mate Salven. Having ran a TQ pace in nearly every qualifier Salven was finally able to keep the run clean to claim TQ for the round doing so with the fastest 4-minute run of the event.

Associated to re-release RC10 Classic buggy

For those people who were too young to own one the first time round or had one back in the day, Associated have announced that they are going to release a limited number of the original Classic RC10 buggies. Designed originally back in the 1980’s and winning the first title for the US company at the hands of Jammin Jay Hasley in 1985, this design is a classic and paved the way in terms of design for the buggies we race today. The released version will be modernised slightly to be able to accept LiPo packs and will become available this Summer.
