T-Works have announced the release of new steel CVD driveshaft sets for Kyosho Inferno MP9 based vehicles. Available for the front of the MP9 TKI4, MP9E Evo and GT3 is a 93mm set while for the rear a 91mm set suits the MP9 TKI3 and GT3 kits. The driveshafts are machined from high-quality steel material, they include precision-ground wheel axles as well as couplers and cup-shaped cross pin retainers. T-Works are busy adding more Kyosho Inferno MP10 released optionals to their range with the latest being a steel centre dogbone driveshaft set. It included two high-quality steel 85mm and 119mm centre driveshafts as well as heavy duty couplers for the diff input gears. Using dogbone-style driveshafts can help to free up the drivetrain under load which changes the drivetrain’s behaviour, resulting in improved steering up front and greater traction in the rear. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear and looks, the wing stay mount replaces the original part for a more sturdy construction that can improve overall downforce. Kyosho’s own Yuichi Kanai has teased a forthcoming new option part for the Inferno MP10 buggy on social media. Coming soon is a pair of long, lightweight aluminium shock standoffs for the rear end of the buggy. The idea of running the shocks leaned back is to having an easier to drive car in bumpy sections while adding traction when leaving corners due to smoother suspension movement. Available now from T-Works is an aluminium rear hub set for the Kyosho Inferno MP10 buggy. The set includes machined 7075-T6 aluminium rear hubs as well as delrin ball bearing inserts, machined aluminium wheelbase spacers as well as brass A and B bushings that help to add unsprung masses if needed. The latter comes in handy especially on lower grip surfaces were adding weight to the suspension can lead to increased traction. The kit allows to utilise “bleeder”-type shock caps over the standard diaphragm design for added shock adjustability when conditions call for it. The caps are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, they come hard anodised for wear and looks and the set also includes all needed mounting hardware.
