On-Point WGT 10 conversion kit

After a lot of requests, On-Point Racing finally decided to break into the growing World GT market. Based on AE R5 parts, they have now introduced the brand new On-Point WGT 10 conversion kit. This kit is based on the knowledge gained with the On-Point OPC12 kit, which recently had major success at the Snowbird Nationals, by taking TQ and the win in the 1/12th 13.5 class. The kit includes centered battery, forward shock for more consistency, damper tubes for smoother dampening and wider rear posts to have more body stability. Max Kuenning wins World GT @ 2012 Snowbirds

CRC’s Max Kuenning has won the World GT class at the recent 2012 Snowbird Nationals. The CRC Gen-X10 LE driver took an early lead in the final with his mostly stock car that was only equipped with the long upper front arm and mount as optional parts. Paul Lemieux wins 1/12th Mod at Snowbirds

The Snowbird Nationals were held at the Worldgate Resort in Orlando, Florida last week. The race was highly competitive with a large international presence, North America, Europe, and Japan all represented. Paul Lemieux piloted his Thunderpowered Xray X12 into the winner’s circle with upstart company Gravity RC’s new line of tires. Paul used “G-12” tires to connect his vehicle to the racing surface. Alexander Hagberg joins ORCA

ORCA have announced that they have signed factory Xray driver Alexander Hagberg. The Swedish driver, who previously drove for LRP, had the best possible start to his new relationship by taking his first big international win at the Snowbird Nationals last weekend in Florida. Mobers wins Snowbirds 1/12th 13.5 GTP class

A brief report from the 1/12th 13.5 GTP class at last weekend’s Snowbird Nationals in Orlando, Florida. It was On Point Racing’s German team driver Markus Mobers that took the top spot in qualifying, doing so in the final round to start on pole ahead of Larry Fairtrace and World Champion Naoto Matsukura in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the final Markus drove his Team Orion powered OP12C to the win by just 1.3 seconds ahead of Andrew Knapp in 2nd, with Mike Blackstock completing the podium in 3rd. Burt, Parsons & Law win at FSEARA Rd4

Round 4 of the FSEARA (Florida State Electric Auto Racing Association) took place at Minnreg in Largo, FL. Minnreg is an indoor carpet track, one of the few in Florida. Every year, Mike Boylan hosts this race as the warm up to the annual Snowbird Nationals in Orlando, FL and this warm up race attracted many locals & out of town racers. From Friday to Sunday, there are both oval & on road events to prepare for the 400+ entry Snowbird Nationals. This on road event alone had about 70+ entries, making this an important on road race to attend….

CEFX Griffin 12 2011 conversion

Since its release in 2009, the Griffin 12 Conversion has been a leading contender if not dominating the 1/12 Modified scene. Since the prototype TQ’d the IIC in 2009, the Griffin has gone on to win back to back Snowbird Nationals and ROAR Nationals. Add in a victory at the 2010 IIC, dominating performance at the U.S. Indoor Championships, IFMAR WC Finalist in Germany, several other TQ’s and wins and the CEFX Griffin has set a very high bar in 1/12 performance. Corally retain Marc Fisher for 2011

Dutch company Corally have announced that their team driver Marc Fischer from Germany has extended his contract for another year bringing him through to 2012 with the team.
