Groskamp sluit aan zich officieel bij de Hartstocht van de Snelheid Categories - Speed Passion, Electric, International, Racing, Drivers - add a comment
Jilles Groskamp zal officieel de Hartstocht van de Snelheid voor de rest van het het rennen seizoen vertegenwoordigen. Op het kuilgebied hier bij de 2de ronde van Veel meer gesteunde ETS, behandelt de hoogste Internationale bestuurder Tamiya die aan ons wordt bevestigd dat hij heeft goedgekeurd de Hartstocht van de Snelheid om hem van motoren voor de rest van het jaar te voorzien. Jilles heeft Hong Kong in werking gesteld slechts gemaakt tot motoren sinds het begin van het seizoen maar dat overeenkomst wordt geïnktt bij TITC in Thailand 2 weken geleden die ook de Nederlandse bestuurder de Hartstocht van de Snelheid bij Kampioenschappen de van dit jaar van de Wereld zullen zien rennen.
Wij zijn hier bij de 2de ronde Veel meer het gesteunde Europese Reizen Seres die dit weekend in Vejle, Denemarken plaatsvindt en tijdens een onderbreking in preperations gesla erin zijn agd die wij met één van de ETS organisatoren Scotty Ernst gaan zitten om over deze opwindende nieuwe reeks te spreken.

Losi 1/10 BL van Xcelorin 6400kV Motor Categories - Team Losi, Motors, Electric, Products - add a comment
Deze wordt de nieuwe 1/10 motor van Xcelorin 6400kV van Losi gezegd om eigenschappen en specificaties aan te bieden die door de elektrische enthousiasten RC worden gewenst. De eigenschappen zoals laag-profiel solderen lusjes met een beschermende dekking, precisiekogellagers voor vlotte verrichting, worden de Gesinterde rotoren van het Neodymium en het beste van al onderhoud van de nrmotor vereist. Verwacht dat het in de loop van de maand raakt de markt.

S400 wint Nosram Zes Reeksen Enduro Categories - Serpent, Electric, On Road, Racing - add a comment
Het serpent rapporteert over de verwezenlijkingen van hun Zuidafrikaans team, dat een belangrijke overwinning voor S400 als ploeg van het drie mensenSerpent van Dave Wiseman noteerde, Mike Wiseman en Tony D' Oliviera nam algemene overwinning in Nosram Zes Reeksen, een duurzaamheidsreeks die in uur drie 6 races neemt die over een periode in werking worden gesteld van twee maand. De eerste gebeurtenis bij het strakke Toevoerkanaal van de Gateway Umhlanga, zag een strak strijdrecht op het eind, met de S400 auto van Mike, Dave en Tony D' Oliviera, nemen wint door enkel één overlapping, ong. 16 seconden, na 6 uren van het rennen. The 2nd event took place at another tight track at Camperdown but unfortunately this event had to be cut short at the midway point when the heavens opened up over the track. The final round was held at the Southway track in Durban where three S400 cars were running. Again a tight struggle until the final two hours when the Wiseman/D’Oliviera team moved clear to take the win and with it secured overall series victory. Second in the final went to another S400 in the hands of Shaun & Mike White, driving with Neil Robinson while in the overall standings Serpent’s EP touring car took a 1-2 with Brandon May, Kim Hein and Shane Sudbury taking their example to 2nd in the final standings.

Darren Johnson joins Xray Categories - Xray, Gas, On Road, Racing, Drivers - add a comment
Mirage Racing in the UK have announced that top 200mm racer, and European finalist, Darren Johnson has joined Xray to race the NT1. Darren brings to the team countless National victories and immense knowledge & experience which will help the rest of the team, which consists of Ben Cosgrove, Mark Gilliland and Robin Hammett. Darren, who previously raced for Team Magic, will also run the complete line of GRP tyres.

HB Junior 1/8th Off Road Championships Categories - Events, Gas, Off Road, Racing - add a comment
Mirage Racing and the Frankley club are proud to announce the HB Junior Championships 2008, which will be held at the awesome Frankley venue. The race is a 1 day event and promises to be even better and bigger than last year. Practice is available on the Saturday for any one who wishes to get some lines sorted or for beginners who have just started. There will be no tyre rule so anything can be used. Rules will be very relaxed but cheating will result in disqualification form the event.Trophies will be given to 1st 2nd and 3rd in each of the finals on the finals day, plus prizes will be made available nearer the meeting. The Date is 6th JULY 2008 and the entry fee is £7.

Franceschi wins Sao Paulo Stock Rd1 Categories - Serpent, Events, Electric, On Road, Racing - add a comment
Serpent have a report on their site from the first round of the Sao Paolo Championship held at the Sam’s Club track in Santo Andre, a city within Greater Sao Paulo, the State’s Capital. The format saw each driver get just a single qualifying round followed by four heats, the best three of which determine the overall result. Starting from pole the two first wins came easy for Serpent racer Felipe Franceschi but his team mate Thiago ‘Poldo’ Podolsky, although very fast, faced mechanical problems with the breakage of his front belt followed by the rear preventing him from getting a good score. In the third heat it would be Felipe’s turn suffer a broken belt, the team putting these failures down to the debris on a number of dirty spots on the track. With Felipe out, Poldo was the favorite but his back luck continued as a prototype aluminum central axle that is currently being developed by the team broke. The fourth and final heat saw Felipe take his third win of the day and with overall victory in the opening round of the championship in front of Corally racer Lincoln Almeida in 2nd and Xray driver Marcos Mayer in 3rd

Schumacher Cat SX Competition buggy Categories - Schumacher, Electric Off Road, Cars, Products - 1 comment so far
Schumacher have released the first pictures of the new Cat SX Competition 4WD Off-Road buggy that was announced at the recent Nurnberg Toy Fair. Scheduled in for an early summer release, the large amount of testing that has taken place will make it will be well worth the wait. The car shown in these pictures are still with some prototype parts and they hope to show some body off pictures next week. The car will be launched in two formats to enable the customer to choose which battery type they prefer, 4×2 NiMh or Lipo.
