Naturally, this pack is not limited to 1/12 scale and can be used for all 1S applications which accept the pack’s dimensions.

Keven Herbert reports on the third leg of the NEGS (Northeast Grand Slam Series) was held the weekend of January 16-17 in at Tri-State Hobbies in Cincinnati, Ohio. Having missed the second leg of the series, I had some extra pressure to do well now that I had already used my one throw-out. Along with Paul Ciccarello, I was setting some of the fastest lap times in both Pro Rubber class and Pro 1/12 Class. Chris Goetz was also showing some early speed and was turning some fast laps with his Schumacher car in the rubber class.

Tim Smith wins 4th annual Colonel’s Classic
The 4th annual Colonel’s Classic was held this past weekend at Phil Hurd Raceway in Savannah, GA and has quickly become the premier kickoff race in the southeast for each new year. Friday’s practice was very nice with dry weather which provided a great look at who had their race face on this weekend. Only one round of qualifying was completed before the rain came which pushed the remaining qualifier and mains to Sunday. The Phil Hurd race crew was able to get the track back to running condition very quickly and qualifying resumed on Sunday, Tim Smith was able to put himself into the main qualifying 6th. At the start of the main he was able to put his Xray 808, JConcepts equipped buggy to the lead on the opening lap. Around the 10 minute mark Alan Burton was able to make a charge for the lead, but Tim was able to quickly increase his gap to take the win with Shane Ogden in 2nd and Alan Burton finishing in 3rd.
