Kyosho Gas powered 1/12th pan car Categories - Kyosho, Gas On Road, Cars, Products , trackback
The picture above was spotted in this months issue of the Japanese magazine, RC Magazine. It shows a new, concept stage, project by Kyosho to make a 1/12th gas powered 4wd pan car, sporting what looks like the same Sirio .09 engine that comes with the Mini Inferno range of buggies. As my Japanese is pretty bad, all i can comment on is the picture and i have to say that it looks like a rather awkward and cramped layout with 2 belt configuration, side mounted disk brake and 2 speed gearbox. The rear top mounted exhaust just looks like an afterthought and as much as the center of the car looks too busy, the front has nothing going on. What do you guys think?

The car looks great.
I agree, the guy that wrote this had nothing but negative things to say, about, what looks like a wonderful progression in 1/12 scale racing. This car is a sweet little speedster! I hope Kyosho produces it quickly. I’ll be the first racer in line at the hobby shop!
Note: Weird thing is - I was recently talking and pondering about, when or if, someone would produce one these race cars and how it would be killer to race them in competition! Appearantly someone had the same thoughts! Way to go Kyosho! :)
