Just this weekend saw the German National Championship title race run for 1/8th scale at the Hamm track in the West of Germany, a race that would crown the new German National Champion. Just an diesem Wochenende sah die deutsche National Championship Titel Rennen laufen zu Maßstab 1:8 auf der Strecke Hamm im Westen von Deutschland, eine Rasse, die Krone der neuen deutschen National Champion. In qualifying it was Serpent racer Michael Salven that claimed the pole position ahead of Shepherd racer Robert Pietsch who would start 2nd. Im Qualifying war es Serpent Racer Michael Salven behauptete, dass die Pole-Position vor Shepherd Racer Robert Pietsch, die 2. starten. The start of the race was filled with drama as Salven missed the start changing tires and had to begin the race from the back of the grid meaning he would have to push from the start. Der Start des Rennens war gefüllt mit Drama als Salven verpasst Beginn wechselnden Reifen und hatten zu Beginn des Rennens von der Rückseite des Gitters Sinne er hätte zu schieben von Anfang an. With the race underway Pietsch could take the lead, but with Salven pushing hard he couldnt afford to relax, that was until Michael went off and with the motor starved of fuel sitting upside down, it stalled, which lost him 2 laps and so began another recovery drive. Mit dem Rennen im Gange Pietsch konnte die Führung übernehmen, aber mit Salven drängen schwer leisten könnte er sich zu entspannen, das war bis Michael ging und mit dem Motor hungern Kraftstoff Sitzung auf den Kopf, sie zum Stillstand gekommen, die ihm verloren 2 Runden und so begann ein weiterer Recovery-Laufwerk. By the end of the race Salven had recovered to 3rd only a few seconds behind 2nd placed finisher Oliver Mack for Mugen, while the win went to Pietsch, driving the prototype Shepherd Velox. Bis zum Ende des Rennens Salven wieder erholt hatte bis zur 3. nur ein paar Sekunden hinter 2. platziert Finisher Oliver Mack für MUGEN, während der Sieg ging an Pietsch, Driving der Prototyp Shepherd Velox.
