D'Hondt gewinnt belgischen 1:8 Nats Rd5

The weekend just gone saw the 5th round of the Belgian 1/8th scale National Championships held at the brand new Charlerloi track. Das Wochenende gerade sah der 5. Runde der belgischen Maßstab 1:8 National Championships am brandneuen Charlerloi Spur. In qualifying it was Serpent racer and winner of Im Qualifying war es Serpent Rennrad und Gewinner des rounds 1 Runde 1 and und 4 , Robin D’hondt that took the pole position ahead of his team mate and , Robin D'Hondt, die die Pole Position vor seinem Teamkollegen und round 3 Runde 3 winner Steven Cuypers in 2nd. In the warmup for the final Steven stripped his front belt and with little time to fix it, decided to start the final with 2wd, which proved difficult to drive and he retired shortly after. Pole man D’hondt got a good start and despite some small clutch problems he was able to take the win by 6 laps ahead of 2nd placed Michel Bourgeois with 3rd spot going to Gunther Van Staey. Pole d'Hondt-Mann erhielt einen guten Start und trotz einiger kleiner Kupplung Probleme konnte er den Sieg von 6 Runden vor der 2. platziert Michel Bourgeois mit 3. Platz geht an Gunther Van Staey.
