Connolly and Steele win Irish Nats Rd4 Categories - Events, National, On Road, Racing , trackback 
Last weekend saw the previously postponed 4th round of the Irish National Championships run at the St. Annes Park track in Dublin. The National round was open to both 1/8th scale and 1/10th 200mm and in 1/8th it was Serpent racer Clive Connolly that took the TQ while in the 1/10th class it was Xray driver Steven Hayes that took the TQ spot. The 1/8th scale A-final was won by Clive Connolly who clinched the National title while Serpent team mate Darragh Fox was 2nd and Mugen racer Austin Elliot in 3rd. In the 1/10th scale class it was out going Champion Chris Steele that won the A Final, his second win of the year, with Serpent racer Eoin Doran in 2nd after a great battle with new Champion Steven Hayes in 3rd. The B final was won by rookie Robert Boylan with Darren Hill in 2nd and Oliver Pauloin-Valory in 3rd.
