Atomic RC have released yet more optional parts for their favourite 1/10th 200mm, the Xray NT1. Adding to their already extensive line-up, the new parts include a reinforced rear stabilizer mount, aluminium 7075 hex wheel adapters and middle mounts for the radio tray. Also newly available is a lightweight 2nd gear adapter, an aluminium center shaft mounting bracket, a flex-control engine mount set, lightweight delrin adjustable nut for use on the 8.4mm pivot balls and finally a graphite brake linkage set.

Team Losi have released this Universal starter box that features a unique design for flexibility for multiple sizes, types and brands of vehicles. Easily adjusted without having to open the box, a phillips screw driver is the only tool required for position adjustment, while fual high-torque motors provide plenty of power for starting.

Xray are reporting on the recent Rebellion race organized by the small MMR club in Mäntsälä and which attracted top foreign racers such as Marc Fisher, Federico Sala and Ivan Laptev. The modified class saw the pole position go to Xray team driver Teemu Leino and he also took control in the finals, winning the first 2 of 3 which secured him the overall win in front of Corally racer Marc Fisher in 2nd with Yokomo driver Viljami Kutvonen in 3rd.

Edit RC have released this ‘E-wing’ for 1/10th scale off road buggies that claims to offer huge downforce with minimal drag. The wing sits very low on the rear shock tower and has a large kick-up area for extra rear downforce and has been made from tough polycarbonate for extra durability and strength. Used by British and European Champion Neil Cragg, it is sold clear and comes supplied with overspray film.

German company Ansmann has released this hump pack configured receiver battery pack. Made using high quality 1200MAh cells, the pack is supplied with cable and plug and is suitable for 1/10th stadium trucks and 1/8th scale buggies, as well as other cars that take this type pack.

Sotiropoulos is Greek 1/8th Champion Categories - Serpent, Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Serpent are reporting that John Sotiropoulos has made the perfect defence of his Greek 1:8 National Championship title winning the final round of the Championship at Arena track to claim the 2007 crown. Driving a Serpent 960, Sotiropoulos TQ’d the event ahead of team-mate Mimis Papadopoulos and in the final Sotiropoulos stormed to victory ahead of 2nd placed Kirikos Anastasiadis racing a Mugen, while Papadopoulos brought his car home 3rd.
