Atsushi Hara remporte JMRCA gaz buggy Nats

Former World Champion Touring car racer Atsushi Hara has won last weekends Japanese 1/8th scale gas buggy Nationals held in Chiba, close to Tokyo. Ancien champion du monde de voitures de tourisme racer Atsushi Hara a remporté le week-end dernier japonais 1/8th échelle gaz buggy Nationals tenue à Chiba, près de Tokyo. The event had been affected by rain with Saturday’s running being cancelled and the results after Friday’s 2 rounds of qualifying being used, which gave Hara the TQ spot with his heavily modified HB Lightning 2 Pro. L'événement avait été touché par la pluie samedi à courir être annulée et les résultats de vendredi après 2 rondes de qualifications soient utilisés, ce qui a donné le Hara TQ place avec sa fortement modifiées HB Lightning 2 Pro. In the final no one could touch Hara and despite loosing the lead on lap 2, he was able to regain the lead 5 laps later and pull out a lead of 2 laps by the end of the hour, winning from 2nd placed Yuuichi Ajishi driving a Mugen and Takeshi Shinomiya taking 3rd with his Losi 8ight. En définitive personne ne pouvait toucher Hara, et en dépit de perdre la tête sur les genoux 2, il a pu regagner les devants 5 tours plus tard et se retirer une avance de 2 tours avant la fin de l'heure, à partir de la 2e gagnante Yuuichi Ajishi placé au volant d'une Mugen et Takeshi Shinomiya prenant 3ème avec son Losi 8ight.
