US based company Xtreme Carbon have released some non carbon fibre parts in the shape of engine mounts and bodyshells. First up are the quick change motor mounts available for both the Associated RC8 and Mugen MBX-5 that have been made from blue anodised aluminium and allow the quick and easy removal, and remounting, of the cars engine, through the use of 2 piece mounts with guiding pins that ensure the gear mesh is maintained.
