GO 5 port Buggy motor by IModel

IModel in France have contacted us to inform us of their own hand tuned version of the GO B21.5P buggy motor. This 3.5cc 5 port engine features work done to the main components of the engine that increase performance and longevity. The crankshaft has been lightened while there has been work done to the crank bell, which has been polished and lightened for better acceleration. The liner has also received some attention with the ports getting the teardrop treatment, while for more tuning possibilities the engine is supplied with 4 different venturies.

Hello,

just one more modding company that thinks to know what they are doing! IMO, and I know what I’m talking about (occupation), There are just Rick Brake from RB mods and the company of former Ron Paris (Hotmods I guess) that know what to do! BTW, this version from iModel is not just “oh … it looks cool enough to sell it”, also the work was done not perfect (just look at the sleeve’s window). Nobody can tell me that this was done on purpose.

Sorry, I forgot AB mods … also well done engines!

MMM is great, too … thought about them when reading the Orion .12 article. But now I really got all for my opinion.

Stefan

You claim to know it’s no good due to you do the same work and then in the same time say you are not good yourself as you limit your self out from the ones that know what they are doing ? =)

I didn’t say that I know all the diagramms of the 4 brands I named but have seen these engines performing in reality. That’s enough to say that these are great modders. I also did not say that some can modify their engines on their own with the know-how and the needed testing equipment. I just said that this sleeve is not worked out very well (you can see that a piece of the bottom edge is missing, sure, it won’t harm the performance a lot if at all but these things can give a company a name or not). BTW, the thing I do is more complicated than “just” mod nitro engines. You can believe me. :-)

It was never my intension to blame a company or a person. Just the fact that there are loads of so called modders came up until now and it’s sure that not everyone of them has the knowledge and/or capacities to provides THE weapon! I guess you think the same, don’t you?

Anyways, this led already to far now and I would like to quit this topic at this point. Of course I wish iModel all the best and many titels. :-)
