Toy Fair – Serpent S500 First pics
Categories - Exhibitions, Products, Serpent - trackback

Here are the first pictures of the new Serpent S500 4wd buggy. Shown today for the first time it retains the Durango feel while at the same time being completely new. The car has an anodised aluminium chassis with detachable sides and has some really nice details all over, especially the rear battery brace and quick release rear driveshaft for removing the batteries. It uses a dual pivot steering system and the servo is mounted betwen the posts and it was a revised geometry compared the the Durango.

Where does the receiver go after you mount the speed controller? There doesn’t seem like there’s much room on the chassis for both. How would you adjust chassis flex? What modern competition car doesn’t allow the racer to tune the amount the chassis flexes?
