We were saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Belgian National Electric TC Champion Koen Joosens. The young driver was killed in a tragic accident on Wednesday the 7th of May. A Schumacher team driver and leading figure in the Belgian RC scene, he will be sorely missed by the racing community and everyone that knew him. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

My thoughts go out to the Joosens family,i hope to see them again on the track.
I raced with Koen, his brother and their father for many years.
They have always been good people. Helpfull for everybody and down to earth although they are some of the greatest Belgian talent that i have ever seen driving.
Koen always was an example for everybody else. He was always calm and controlled. One of the best racers ever because he was very good but still would never win by pushing his competitors. He always raced very clean and won so many races because he simply was one of the best racers around.
I will miss him and will always think off him in a good way.
