Ellis Stafford takes BRCA 2wd crown Categories - Drivers, National, Off Road, Racing, X-Factory , trackback
Ellis Stafford has won the fifth round of the BRCA Championship at Southport, which has seen him take his third National crown. In just his second year with X Factory, Stafford took convincing wins in A-2 and A-3 to wrap up the 2008 Outdoor Championship. Ellis won the last two mains by 8 second each with a car that was obviously faster than anything else on the track.
Last year I was getting used to the entirely new concept of the mid-motor car. It’s just obvious to me that The New Math is faster, but there is a bit of a new driving style and that takes getting used to. But once I learned it, it was nothing but “go” from that point on. I’ve just gotten faster and faster the longer I drive this car, and I’m looking forward confidently to the worlds in ‘09
