Toy Fair 2009 – Tamiya 2

In our haste at the Tamiya stand earlier trying to get photographs of the 801X buggy, we missed the other important releases by the Tamiya Racing Factory on display. The most notable of which is the all new 511X, the replacement for the successful 501X platform. Essentially everything on the car is new, according to a spokesman on the stand but they didnt go into specifics, but looking at the photos in the gallery, you can work it for yourself.

As we mentioned before, the F1 class is becoming bigger these days and Tamiya have re released the F103, the car that essentially started the class. The F103 15th Anniversary car has received a makover from the original, with the new version featuring lots of carbon as well as new blue anodised blocks, for bling and extra cooling. The front suspension has also received an update, made from a new stronger material.

Finally, TRF have released a line of re brand Much More electronic equipment, with the range including a Power supply, charger, motor checker and tire warmer. The new set looks really nice and is finished in TRF blue with a cool design printed on the top face of each.
