Why not turn the battery around and put the terminals at the front?

Hi Gareth,
many thanks for your comment. Of course you can also turn the battery around and put the terminals at the front to use taller connectors. We opted to route them towards the rear as this way they face away from the receiver. As you know sometimes the power wires can generate glitches if located too close to the receiver.
