The first day of 1/10 Indoor Touring European Championship 2010 race is over. Taking place in the town of Mäntsälä, 80km north from Helsinki, the capital of Finland, this first day comprised of 4 rounds of timed practice. The race track is wide, with a fast and good grip which is building up and the official tyre is the Xenon R28, known for its good grip, so most of cars looked pretty solid already from the first rounds.

First day showed good speed from many top drivers and it was really tight in laptimes wise. Warm up race winner and DHI cup TQ, Christer Andersson drove strong at his home track with his highly modified Associated TC5 as did his team mate Juho Levänen. Current World Champion Marc Rheinard also looked solid followed by his Tamiya team mate Viktor Wilck. The strong Xray team was also up to speed with Teemu Leino, Miko Teponoja, Martin Hudy and Alexander Hagberg all with their new T3 cars.

Tomorrow will start with 2 rounds of timed practice followed by 3 rounds of qualifying.
