Motonica 1/8th Gran Turismo body
Motonica are trying to revive GT cars for gas on road with the release of this Gran Turismo body especially redesigned for 1/8th scale on road category. The new body fits perfectly to all Motonica models series P81, P8C and P8F and it will be sold together with its rear spoiler and fixing screws.

Yeah, it looks great. I’m a real fan of CanAm and prototype shells. But maybe a revival of touring car and formula bodies will help to grow the R/C car racing family, like in the ’80. ;-)
I think one problem is the huge variety of scales and kinds of model cars.

yepp, so in that case we do not need another rc-class. There are more rc-classes already than can be fill up with drivers at races.

Yeah, I see what you are saying but this is actually a revival, of the days we ran Ferrari, Corvette, and other car bodies – that were based on cars. The bodies run on 1:8 IC have gotten crazy, they just look like big slot cars now!

I personally like it. Would love to see something else besides the bodies being used on 8th scales now.

I think they will never come up to speed of today’s 8ths, but at least they will look a lot cooler. I agree that the bodies now look like oversized slot cars.
