Team Orion have introduced a range of new LiPo battery packs such as the Carbon Pro Ultra and V-Max Outlaw HV series. First up is the competition-legal Carbon Pro Ultra series. The packs are built using the latest generation of cells that offers very high power output thanks to a very low internal resistance thanks to enhanced energy density. The packs are available in a range of configurations including a lightweight 5800mAh standard pack, a 4800mAh 4S 1/8th scale pack, a 4000mAh 18.5mm XS saddle pack as well as several shorty packs. The latter come as 4500mAh 100C Torque and 5000mAh 110C Capacity variant both of which feature standard shorty 96x47x25mm dimensions. Also new is the shorter 3800mAh 110C XS shorty that measures 93x47x18.5mm at a weight of 155g. Next up is the thinner 3200mAh 110C XSS shorty with 96x47x16mm dimensions and a weight of 130g. Last but not least comes a 7400mAh 110C 1S pack of 93x47x18.5mm dimensions and a weight of 155g for 1/12th scale applications.

As for the Carbon Pro V-Max 110C Outlaw LiHV packs, the batteries offer a nominal voltage of 3.8V per cell and they are chargeable up to 4.35V per cell. The packs aren’t race legal but they can be used to extract more power out of RTR vehicles or to boost performance in “outlaw” racing classes. Available are several configurations including a 8000mAh and a 7600mAh 110C 2S standard pack, a 5000mAh 110C 2S shorty, a 6600mAh 110C 2S saddle pack, a 7500mAh 110C 1S pack and a 6500mAh 4S 1/8th scale battery. The two standard size packs are available with 4mm dual tube or Deans-compatible T-plug connectors. On top of this come the V-Max Rocket LiHV Packs, hardcase intermediate-level high voltage LiPos with integrated LED charge status control system.
