RC-Project 8ight-X titanium & aluminium option parts

RC-Project from Italy have introduced new option parts for the TLR 8ight-X 1/8th off-road buggy. First up is a set of titanium shock standoffs that are made of high-quality Grade 5 6Al4V material and that features rolled threads that guarantee a perfect coupling with the shock nuts and increase the resistance of the Titanium by 35 percent. Weighing in at 4.8g for the pair, the standoffs will lower the overall centre of gravity while adding rigidity and visual impact at the same time.

Also new is a set of Ergal 7075-T6 billet lower shock mounting screws. The shaft diameters have been modified with respect to the originals to have a better coupling between the pin, arm and ball and the diameter of the thread has been increased by 0.05mm to be able to adapt even to used arms. Included in the 4-piece set are black colour right-hand thread and the gold colour left-hand thread pins. Last but not least comes a 12-piece set of reverse design suspension balls. The pivot balls are machined from Ergal 7075-T6 billet material, they come hard-anodised for wear and feature a teflon coating for reduced friction. The reverse design ensures the ball cups will not pop off during a crash and with their internal M3 threads the balls are also easier to mount.
