JConcepts have introduced the Illuzion body shell for the Team Associated B6 series of 1/10th 2WD buggies. A common sight in the early to mid-2000’s, the Illuzion sports a classic “cab rearward” design, setting itself apart from today’s breed of cab forward body shells. JConcept’s own Jason Ruona qualified 5th at the 2003 IFMAR World Championships with the prototype Illuzion style body while Ryan Cavalieri drove the Illuzion to TQ during the 2005 IFMAR World Championships. JConcepts celebrates their 10th anniversary with the release of a new limited edition T-shirt. From the prototype B4 Illuzion body and BJ4 competition 4wd buggy debut at the 2003 IFMAR Worlds all the way to the recent racing success during the 2013 Cactus Classic, JConcepts has transitioned throughout the years and ascended through the industry placing itself among the elite. JConcepts have released the Illuzion Hi-Flow SCT body. Sporting a fashionable racing look, the body panel attack angles and even greater air escape packages give the Hi-Flow class leading performance. The air escape package consists of user friendly trim-out areas which have been strategically placed to ensure a clean race-able look that minimizes the trouble-some parachute effect. The large Hi-Flow areas are depressed into the body which allows the user to simply score the bottom pocket and pop-out for instant results. JConcepts now offer the Illuzion +8mm Punisher body shell for modified Team Associated B4.1 buggies. The JConcepts Illuzion hi-flow body shell for Team Durango’s DNX408 is a drop-fit and incorporates race-inspired aggressive styling, a forward placement/centre raked cab and rear escape combined with a hard-edged flowing design of the side pod scoops. …the pits making the proper pit strategy moves, performing great pit stops while JP increased the lead. Finishing with over a 2 lap lead, JP cruised in for his first win on the 2011 series. JP’s Serpent was decked out with JConcepts all weekend long. Using an assortment of Bar Codes and Sevens to Top Qualify then switching to the trusty Crossbows mounted on Mono wheels for the main, JConcepts tires were hooked-up all weekend long on the amazing Mills Pond track surface.
