…TQ honours ahead of Savoya, both drivers posted a TQ run each from the three rounds however it was young Bermudez who had the faster time to become Top Qualifier while Lot lined up 3rd. In the finals, starting from 4th it was Noha Ben Mohamed who took the opening encounter from Bermudez. In A2 it was the ‘Shark’ Savoya who got the win from Lot, but the latter reversed that result in the third leg to secure the overall win with his Corsatec powered RC S35-4e. Reno Savoya hit a landmark over the weekend when he claimed his 10th French 1:8 Offroad National title at ARCF 42 track in Boisset-Saint-Priest. The fourth & final round of the 2022 National Championship, the 3-time European Champion would cap of the season with the perfect run securing the overall TQ before winning his Semi in the fastest time to line up on pole for the main final. The Levante Cup was held at the Circuito de Silla track this past weekend. In the single 2WD Buggy class it was Joan Espasa with the overall TQ after winning two of the three qualifiers and also bagged the overall victory early with wins in A1 and A2, leaving behind Marcos Abarca in 2nd and Jaime Casanayor in 3rd. It will feature a somewhat radical design with a roof air intake for improved motor cooling as well as a shark fin roof detail and a swooping rear section for optimised airflow towards the rear wing.
