Max Power Back pressure adjustment Categories - Accessories, Engines, Max Power, Products - comments closed
While the action on the track at this years European 1/8th scale track Championships is heating up, we took a look through the pits to see what was new here at the event. Most interesting thing being tried is this back pressure adjustment needle on the car of Massimo Fantini. Mounted in the pressure line, it can be adjusted to best suit the present conditions and is currently being tested as a way to help conserve fuel. As always at gas races conserving fuel is super important and other racers are trying similar things, with many of the front runners adopting the CRF Constant pressure device in an attempt to make the 5 minutes.

More engines, this time from Max Power who have released an all new buggy motor, the MX21CSQ. Featuring updated internals, a new cooling head and a square stroke, the motor has more top end than the previous Max Power buggy motor. Max also have an all new .12 circuit engine on display (although not with the final crankcase), the XL3 has ceramic bearings and complete new internal porting in the crankcase. To celebrate Massimo Fantini’s TQ at the World Championships last year, there is a MX21XL9 TQ, which is a 9 port motor with ceramic bearings and lots of internal work. Also on display was a new range of budget .12 engines with a nice new cooling head and also there are some new pipes for both .21 circuit and buggy.
