Serpent have released some new items for their S400 and S960 chassis’, starting with this range of optional lower suspension brackets for fine-tuning the geometry settings on the S400. Made from anodised grey aluminium, the new brackets are available in 2.5, 3.5 and 4.0 and allow a wide range of front and rear toe settings as well as overall track width adjustment. Serpent are reporting on the German Regionals for the West area at which Michael Salven was in action over the weekend. Serpent sont l'établissement de rapports sur l'allemand Régionaux pour la région de l'Ouest au cours de laquelle Michael Salven était en action pendant le week-end. The factory Serpent driver was unstoppable around the tricky and demanding Dormagen track taking the TQ and race win along with setting a new track record with his Serpent 960′08. L'usine pilote a été imparable Serpent autour de la délicate et exigeante Dormagen prenant la piste et de la race TQ gagner avec la fixation d'un nouveau bilan avec son serpent 960'08. Salven’s win was backed up by a great drive from engine tuning guru Karl Heinz Meister who claimed the runners up spot with new Shepherd signing Christian Wurst in 3rd. Salven la victoire était soutenue par un grand moteur de voiture de tuning gourou Karl Heinz Meister qui a revendiqué les coureurs jusqu'à place avec la signature de nouveaux Shepherd Christian Wurst en 3e.

Serpent have a report on the opening round of the 2008 1/8th scale On road British National Championships that kicked off over the Easter weekend at the very fast Brookland Circuit in Kent. Serpent ont un rapport sur l'ouverture de la série 2008 1/8th échelle Sur la route du Championnat national britannique qui a démarré week-end de Pâques à la Brookland Circuit très rapide, dans le Kent. Saturday’s practice saw drivers faced with a mixture of rain, hail and sunshine but on race day most drivers had the opportunity to test on a dry track but had to contend with very cold air temperatures of only 2C and later damp conditions. Du samedi a vu la pratique des conducteurs confrontés à un mélange de pluie, la grêle et le soleil le jour de la course, mais la plupart des conducteurs ont eu l'occasion de tester sur une piste sèche, mais elle a dû composer avec des températures de l'air très froid de seulement 2C et, plus tard, l'humidité. Defending Champion Mark Green with his Serpent 960 took the top qualifier spot after 3 round of wet qualifying with team-mate Neil Diver second fastest. Defending champion Mark Green avec sa Serpent 960 ont pris la place qualificative top après 3 rondes de qualification humide avec coéquipier Neil Diver deuxième rang. In the A final the lead was held by 4 different drivers during the 30-minute encounter with Serpent driver Neil Diver holding it when it counted most to take victory by 10 seconds from Chris Heath in 2nd with Iain Milford in 3rd, a lap further down. The opening round of the Greek National Championship for 1:10 200mm took place over the weekend at the FRT circuit. Saturday practice saw the Serpent pairing of John Sotiropoulos and Kostas Sidiropoulos set the pace, which they would carry through to Sunday as they secured the top two placings in qualifying with Sotiropoulos taking the TQ. In the final Sotiropoulos capitalised on his pole starting position, opening up an early lead over the chasing pack but unfortunately 18 minutes into the race he destroyed both 2 speed gears, handing the lead to team-mate Sidiropoulos. Serpent have just released 2 new decal sheets suitable for both their 1/8th scale and seperately 1/10th scale cars. Serpent viennent de sortir 2 nouvelles fiches décalcomanie adapté à la fois leur ampleur et 1/8th séparément échelle 1/10ème voitures. Printed on A4 sheets, the 2 new decals have been made using black and reflective chrome ink, giving a very cool look to your car. Imprimé sur feuilles A4, les 2 nouvelles vignettes ont été réalisées à l'aide de chrome noir d'encre et de réflexion, ce qui donne un look très cool à votre voiture. The 1/8th scale sheet sports larger logos suitable for the bigger car while the 1/10th sheet of course has smaller logos to fit the smaller body shells. La fiche 1/8th échelle plus vaste logos sport adapté à la voiture tandis que la plus grande feuille de 1/10ème cours a plus petits logos pour adapter le plus petit corps d'obus. Both are fuel resistant. Tous deux sont résistants à combustible.

Serpent are reporting on the final, and title deciding round, of the South Swedish Indoor Championship (SSIC) that took place at the Malmö indoor track last weekend where the Serpent S400 of Team Serpent Sweden driver Niclas Nilsson enjoyed victory to become the overall Champion in Modified EP Touring. Serpent se rendre compte de la finale, et le titre de décider rondes, de la South suédois Indoor Championship (SSIC), qui a eu lieu à Malmö, la piste indoor week-end dernier où l'équipe du Serpent S400 Serpent Suède conducteur Niclas Nilsson apprécié la victoire de devenir le Champion Mis à jour le PE Touring. On the large but tight high traction track Nilsson was able to take TQ as well as setting some of the fastest lap times ever run on the Malmö track en route to the overall victory. Serpent are reporting on the achievements of their South African team, which scored an important victory for the S400 as the three man Serpent squad of Dave Wiseman, Mike Wiseman and Tony D’ Oliviera took overall victory in the Nosram Six Series, an endurance series that takes in three 6 hour races run over a two month period. Serpent sont de présentation des résultats de leur équipe sud-africaine, qui a marqué une importante victoire pour le S400 comme les trois homme Serpent escouade de Dave Wiseman, Wiseman Mike et Tony D 'Oliviera a pris ensemble la victoire dans la Série Nosram Six, une série que l'endurance Prend 6 heures en trois courses organisées sur une période de deux mois. The first event at the tight Umhlanga Gateway Raceway, saw a tight fight right to the end, with the S400 car of Mike, Dave and Tony D’Oliviera, taking the win by just one lap, approx 16 seconds, after 6 hours of racing. Serpent have a report on their site from the first round of the Sao Paolo Championship held at the Sam’s Club track in Santo Andre, a city within Greater Sao Paulo, the State’s Capital. Serpent ont un rapport sur leur site de la première ronde du Championnat de Sao Paulo qui s'est tenue à la piste de Sam's Club, à Saint-André, une ville de Grand Sao Paulo, la capitale de l'État. The format saw each driver get just a single qualifying round followed by four heats, the best three of which determine the overall result. Le format de chaque conducteur a vu arriver un seul tour de qualification, suivie de quatre manches, les trois meilleurs de qui déterminent le résultat d'ensemble. Starting from pole the two first wins came easy for Serpent racer Felipe Franceschi but his team mate Thiago ‘Poldo’ Podolsky, although very fast, faced mechanical problems with the breakage of his front belt followed by the rear preventing him from getting a good score.
