Tamiya 1/10th on-road option parts

Coming from Tamiya is a range of option parts for vehicles such as the TB-05 and TT-02. First up is a front one-way for the TB-05 Pro in front motor configuration. The assembly was designed to replace the standard differential for a unit that provides improved front traction while allowing for a more lively rear end under braking as the front wheels rotate freely while only the rear wheels are stopped. The kit also included pins and O-rings to lock the front outdrives in order to create a spool for an even wider range of adjustments.

Also new are 44mm long CV driveshafts bones that come with a hard-anodised surface treatment. The shafts are of a larger diameter for added durability even when running high-power motors while the cross joint attachment holes are rotated by 90 degrees for even greater smoothness. Another new drivetrain options are aluminium double joint driveshaft casings that are made from lightweight alloy material for a significant weight saving compared to the standard steel items. The hard-anodised surface makes for good wear characteristics and the housings are supplied in sets of two. Last but not least come lightweight aluminium cross joints for the use with the above alloy items. The parts are machined from high-quality aluminium, they come hard-anodised for wear and scrub valuable weight compared to the standard steel items. The cross joints are available as 4-piece set for double joint driveshafts for as pair for single joint CV shafts. Coming for all TT-02 and TT-01 on-road chassis is a carbon fibre bumper support as a lightweight, sturdy and cool looking alternative to the kit standard B7 part. The item will scrub some weight while giving improved bumper support and added visual impact.
