The master of off road, Adam Drake, knows a thing or two about engines and so has released this new line of Glow Plugs for his Trinity Platinum Series engines. Available in both turbo and standard non turbo versions, they are only available in one heat type, but fit all engines and another thing is that they are not just sold as a single plug, but you can buy them in packs of 4, thus saving you money.

Trinity have announced that they have updated their best selling silver “Watt Bars” with a new lower resistance, easy to solder, stronger design. The “Mega Watt Bars” now come with pre-bent tabs for the positive and negative speed controller connections.
“Mega Watt Bars” come packaged in 4,5 & 6 cell packages. Each package includes the bars from cell to cell as well as 2 pre-bent solder tabs for the plus and minus battery pack to speed control connection.

Trinity have announced the release of their new ‘Grand Stand’, which is a folding car stand designed to hold the all R/C vehicles from 1/16th cars and trucks up to the biggest 1/7th scale monster trucks. Constructed using a light weight molded composite, and screw assembled, the Trinity patented design allows the “Grand Stand†to be folded down flat for easy storage in your pit box. Trinity are offering the actual cells and motor from Mike Blackstock’s car that turned the fastest lap during the entire US Indoor Champs week. The current bid is at $100 and the auction ends on the 6th of December so if you want them, you better get your bid in soon. The motors and cells also come with the new Trinity long sleeve tee that we featured a while back.
That’s right, you can have Mike Blackstocks motor and battery that he turned the fastest lap the whole week at the US Indoor Championships in Cleveland. Mike used a Trinity N40 motor and in the last round of 4 cell modified qualifying ran a fastest lap of 10.5 which was .2’s of a second faster than any other lap turned at the race.

I like this new “Pro Tee” from Trinity, it has a damn cool spray paint design on the front and, an always über cool, strangely placed logo on the rear. It was also very considerate of Trinity to put arms on the Pro Tee now that we are already deep into the cold and depressing winter months. Trinity Platinum Series .095 engine Categories - Engines, Products, Trinity - comments closed
Trinity have just released the Platinum .095 engine for their Vulcan and other similar 1/16th off road chassis’. This engine has been specially designed for this scale and Trinity is claiming that it is the fastest in its class.
The “Drake Platinum series .095 engine was designed especially for the new generation micro nitro cars and trucks. Reliability, ease to start and tune were just as important in the design criteria as was flat out speed. Simply scaling a . 12-sized engine down does not produce the type of performance required by the nitro newbie as well as the seasoned veteran.
The engine is available in a standard version and a “Draked†version, which has been tweaked and blueprinted by Adam Drake himself.
