Mugen Seiki Racing have announced the exclusive distributor rights for Kawahara Racing product in the USA for 2008. GRP have been in touch to tell us that starting from the 1st of February 2008, it will cease production of the Ninja brand of engines in order to focus 100% on the production of its own GRP brand name motors, which will be officially presented at next months Nuremberg Toy Fair. This announcement does not affect production of the Boss and Falcon engine lines which will continue to be produced. Before packing my stuff for the two big US races, I had the R&D and Production shops work quickly to make all of the parts I wanted to test. All of the parts were made on time and within only a few days, so I could finish packing my stuff and leave for the US. I have been working on my own 1:8 buggy design for nearly two years now, and at the time I started talking with Himoto, it was already done. When I finally showed them my prototype they were impressed, and basically things took off from there.
