Κινήσεις Mark Pavidis προς Kyosho Αμερική Categories - Industry, Kyosho, Drivers - comments closed
Το Kyosho Αμερική έχει αναγγείλει ότι Δευτέρα, 19η Νοεμβρίου Mark Pavidis θα τους ενώνει ως σχεδιαστή προϊόντων στο δάσος λιμνών τους, δυνατότητα Καλιφόρνιας. Το Pavidis είναι πρωτοπόρος δύο-χρονικών κόσμων και ο βασιλεύοντας παγκόσμιος IFMAR πρωτοπόρος στο 1/8 πλαϊνό, και έχει 18 έτη της Ε&Α, ανάπτυξης προϊόντων, και εμπειρίας σχεδίου που φέρνει σε Kyosho. Κατά τη διάρκεια της διάρκειας αξιώματός του ως οδηγό εργοστασίων Kyosho, Pavidis έχει συμβάλει ήδη στο σχέδιο και τη δοκιμή ορισμένων οχημάτων Kyosho. Ο εμπορικός διευθυντής Steve Pond της Αμερικής Kyosho λέει,
Η κατοχή του σημαδιού στο προσωπικό θα μας δώσει ένα ευδιάκριτο πλεονέκτημα επειδή έχει συναγωνιστεί στο πιό υψηλό επίπεδο ανταγωνισμού στον κόσμο για δεκαετίες. Όχι μόνο θα είναι σε θέση να σχεδιάσει τα νέα προϊόντα, η ιδιαίτερη ικανότητα αγώνα του θα επιτρέψει σε τον για να τα εξετάσει στα υψηλότερα όρια. Συνδυασμένοι με τα ιδιαίτερα ταλέντα Gil Losi, νεώτερος, είμαστε πολύ συγκινημένοι για τις δυνατότητες των μελλοντικών προϊόντων που θα προκύψουν από την πρόσφατα σχηματισμένη ομάδα μας.

Στήλη ακτίνας X - νέο ηλεκτρικό να περιοδεύσει αυτοκίνητο Categories - Industry, Xray, Products - comments closed
Η 13$η δόση στη στήλη ακτίνας X από τον ιδιοκτήτη και τον κύριο σχεδιαστή Juraj Hudy ακτίνας X είναι σε ανοικτή γραμμή τώρα. Σε αυτήν την στήλη μηνών, Juraj μιλά για τη διαδικασία και τις σκέψεις πίσω από την ανάπτυξη του νέου να περιοδεύσει της επιχείρησης αυτοκινήτου, το T2 ′ 008.
Προτού να αρχίσουμε με τη δοκιμή και την ανάπτυξη, χτίσαμε αρχικά την πολύ απαίτηση και τις δύσκολες διαδρομές στην εσωτερική εσωτερική διαδρομή μας. Φυσικά κάναμε το ίδιο πράγμα για την υπαίθρια δοκιμή αλλά όχι όπως πολύς όπως στο εσωτερικό, ως καιρό που αυτό το έτος άλλαζε πολύ γρήγορα και υπό αυτήν τη μορφή οι υπαίθριοι όροι διαδρομής άλλαζαν πάρα πολύ γρήγορα… μια καλή συνταγή για την κακή δοκιμή. Στην εσωτερική διαδρομή μας έχουμε ένα πρόσθετο σύστημα περιβαλλοντικού ελέγχου που κρατά τους όρους πολύ σταθερούς, και υπό αυτήν τη μορφή θα μπορούσαμε να τρέξουμε από τη νύχτα πρωινού `til υπό τους ίδιους όρους διαδρομής, βεβαιώνοντας κατά συνέπεια τα αντικειμενικά αποτελέσματα.

ευρώ κλίμακας του 2008 1/8th που ακυρώνονται Categories - Events, Industry, Gas, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Έχουμε λάβει λίγο περισσότερες κακές ειδήσεις σχετικά με RC συναγωνιμένος, μετά από τον άμεσο στάση στον αγώνα EP in Norway, and that is that the 2008 European 1/8th scale ‘A’ Championships and preceeding 1/8th scale EFRA GP, to have been held in Roeselare, Belgium have been cancelled. We received the letter from Franky Noens, 1/10th scale section chairman in EFRA and secretary of the Belgian association, saying that due to problems with noise and no immediate solution the events have been cancelled. What hasn’t been said is if they will be held somewhere else or just left off the calendar next year, we would presume that they will find another venue. Roeselare played host to this years European 1/10th scale ‘B’ Championships.

Norwegian Federation halts all EP Racing Categories - Industry, Events, Electric, Racing - comments closed 
The Norwegian Federation has taken the rather drastic measure of calling a halt to all races and training for electric powered classes following 3 charging related ‘explosions’ at a 1/10th scale National last weekend. According to the source on oOple.com, a lot of the failures have occured in the past with the IB4200 cell, however the most recent failures that prompted this ban on racing were LRP VTecs and Team Orion 4200, both IB made cells. All racing will stay suspended until January 2008, although I’m not sure what will be different from then until now, perhaps a list of approved cells?

Last weekend saw the majority of Europe’s governing bodies for R/C converge in Brussels, Belgium for the annual EFRA AGM to make rule changes and decide on the future direction of the sport. This year didn’t see many major changes to the rules with the exception of the phased introduction of better defined 3 chamber pipes to all forms of gas racing in Europe throughout 2008 as well as the introduction of an indoor 1/10 EP TC European Championships.

RC Racing - Series 2 this Wednesday Categories - Video, Industry, Racing - comments closed 
Premiering this Wednesday on Motors TV across Europe, the new series of RC Racing TV brings you the best race action from around the world and across the many RC disciplines. For this series they travel to Australia for the large scale worlds and Las Vegas for the premier indoor event, the IIC championships, but for episode 1 they start closer to home as presenter Nick Daman tries his hand at racing again, this time at the 12th scale nationals in Milton Keynes. After his exploits in 1/8th Rallycross could he be heading for another fall? (Or crash). There is also topline action as the cream of British touring car racers come together for the BRCA finals at the Cotswolds club, where they also chat to Andy Moore about his recent 12th Euros success and review the latest RC cars and trucks.

Bill Jeric is new President of Losi Categories - Industry, Team Losi, Products - comments closed
Horizon Hobby, Inc. have announced that Bill Jeric has been named President of Losi. Horizon Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, Joe Ambrose, made the announcement stating that, “Bill’s extensive knowledge of the RC industry, as well as his long-time industry experience, make him the perfect choice for leading Losi into the future.” Jeric’s involvement in all things RC stretches back over 30 years, from his early experience as a hobby retailer and his direct interaction with consumers, to his work bringing 1/8-scale buggy racing to prominence in the US market. Bill’s experience with industry leaders like Parma International, Thunder Tiger, Megatech and Horizon Hobby brings a wealth of understanding and expertise to the Losi team. In a statement, Bill said:

RC Racing - Series 2 Categories - Video, Industry, Racing - comments closed
The producers of the great RC TV show RC Racing were in contact to announce that RC Racing - Series 2, will be premiering on Motors TV on Wednesday the 7th of November at 9.30 PM (GMT). This series promises to be bigger and better than before and will once again feature their unique take on the world of RC car racing with news, reviews and interviews, plus their now famous full race coverage of premier events with the professional commentary skills of John Hindhaugh again to the fore. Presented by Nick Daman this series will take us to Las Vegas, Australia and Milton Keynes as we bring the best RC action from around the world.
