LRP 5900mAh & 5400mAh 50C packs

Having written about the new LRP 50C saddle pack only recently, the German company have release full details on their new 50C 5900mAh stick and 5400mAh 1S packs. Specially developed for the competitive model racing scene, these 50C generation LiPos deliver extremely high current draw, especially during acceleration. The unique values are achieved by specially selected raw material and new modern manufacturing technology. Due to the new electrolyte-mixture the batteries can be charged exceptionally fast and due to an extremely low internal resistance the voltage of the batteries stays stable even under the highest pressure and demands. Mounted in a durable hardcase they sport vertical standard sub-c bulges for a secure fit into standard sub-c pre-cut chassis. Equipped with 4mm gold connectors, that can be connected from both sides for highest possible flexibility.

Nosram have released these 5900mAh stick, 5400mAh 1S and 5000mAh saddle X-treme race hard case packs, the next generation of LiPo battery technology with 50C performance. Specially developed for maximum power delivery and unbelievable low internal resistance they are mounted in a red transparent hard case to keep the cells from being damaged during use. IB 5400mAh 35C LiPo pack

Team Epic have released the IB 5400mAh 14.8V 35C LiPo pack with Deans connector. This ROAR approved pack has the same specs and performance as the TRI20291 IB pack, which only fits Team Losi, but its shorter length allows it to fit in all 1/8th scale buggies and truggies.

Acorn Racing 4900mAh 34C Race LiPo

The unique values are achieved by specially selected raw materials and new modern manufacturing technology. Due to the new electrolyte-mixture the batteries can be charged exceptionally fast and due to an extremely low internal resistance the voltage of the batteries stays stable even under the highest pressure and demands. The revolutionary HDS technology, developed by LRP, allows a very high discharge current and therefore also significantly more power. Equipped with 4mm gold connectors, that can be connected from both sides for highest possible flexibility.

ProTek R/C ROAR Approved LiPo race packs

A Main Hobbies today announced their new line of ProTek R/C brand Lithium Polymer hard case battery packs. Starting with this ROAR legal 1-cell 5000mAh capacity pack with a true 40C constant discharge rate, it includes a pre-installed Deans style T-plug. Next up is the ROAR legal 2-cell 5000mAh pack with a true 35C constant discharge rate. This pack includes a charge/balance lead with 4mm bullet connectors for a low resistance connection to the battery and a 3-pin Align/E-Flite style XH connector. Next up is the 5200mAh 45C saddle pack which includes bullet connectors for charging, with a Deans style T-plug and XH balance connector installed. ProTek offer two versions of their ROAR approved 5600mAh 50C packs that come either pre wired or with cables connected using 4mm bullet connectors. Finally for 1/8th scale racers, this ROAR legal 4-cell pack features 5600mAh of capacity and a true 50C constant discharge rate and includes and integrated Deans style T-plug and 5 pin XH connector.

ProTek R/C Power supplies & NiMh battery packs

A Main Hobbies have announced a range of ProTek R/C brand regulated DC power supplies. Starting with the Pro 40, it has a regulated output of 13.8 volts at 40A while the Pro 20 has the same output voltage but with 20A. One final power supply is the super small Pro 10 regulated DC power supply which as the name suggest, has an output of 10A. All feature an internal cooling system that keeps the power supply cool even when it is being worked hard, as well as current limiting, and short circuit protection circuitry, while the Pro 40 and Pro 20 also feature an integrated USB connector for charging your personal electronics. Combine this with universal output 4mm banana jacks that can also be used with clamp type connectors, and you have one of the most flexible power supplies available. ProTek R/C have also released new battery packs including the Intellect IB4600SHV battery pack with Traxxas Connector and 4600mAh of capacity and is a hand soldered side by side pack. Other new packs include the IB4200 and IB3000 packs that are both available with either pre-soldered Tamiya or Traxxas connectors.
