RC Hobby Co. have announced the release of their new Flash brand competition LiPo battery packs. The range includes a new 7.4V 6200mAh 120C narrow pack, ideal for the latest breed of mid-motor touring cars where the slim pack helps to centralise weight while the 7.4V 6500mAh 110C LCG battery helps to lower the overall centre of gravity. Both are built using high-quality cells, making the batteries ideal for demanding competition racing.
Muchmore Racing have announced the soon release of their all-new Diablo Stock Silicone Graphene technology shorty LiPo batteries. Available as 7.4V 3300mAh pack, measuring 46.8x93x18.5mm and as 3.7V 7200mAh variant, measuring 92.7×46.7×18.5mm, the two are made using highest quality LiPo cells for exceptional performance in stock motor classes and they are of an ultra low profile design. The 7.4V 2S battery weighs in at 149g while the 3.7V 1S pack has a weight of 145.5g.
Team Zombie is the latest brand to introduce a slim LiPo battery pack for the use with the latest breed of mid-motor touring cars. The “Narrowism” Centre of Gravity pack uses highest quality 140C cells for exceptional power supply in both modified and stock classes and while measuring 139×37.8×24.7mm it weighs in at under 240g. Using slim style batteries will make for a more centralised weight distribution, something that can improve overall handling of mid-motor touring cars.

Reedy have introduced their new Zappers SG3 Competition 2S LiHV batteries for the 2020 season. They feature state-of-the-art silicon graphene LiPo cell chemistry with an emphasis on lower internal resistance with improved durability and cycle-life, resulting in more power, improved durability, and high capacity for exceptional performance. Zappers SG3 batteries feature a 7.6 nominal voltage, which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. Even when the typical 8.40V charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG3 cells shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve, which results in higher voltage deeper into the race. CML Distribution have introduced two new Centro and a single Voltz 4S 14.8V hardcase LiPo battery pack for 1/8th scale applications. The Centro packs target competitive racing and are available as 7600mAh 100C and 6800mAh 75C variant, while the Voltz pack is built using 5000mAh 50C cells, making it ideal for demanding bash applications and RTR vehicles. All utilise protective hardcases for security and they come pre-soldered with EC5 connectors and balancer ports.

Available now from MaxAmps is their new 7.4V 4750mAh Graphene shorty LiPo battery pack. Built from highest quality cells the battery weighs in at 207g and it measures 95.3×46.4×24.6mm. The black colour hardcase is equipped with 5mm tube-style connectors and due to offering a very low internal resistance and high capacity, the battery is ideal for both modified and stock class racing alike. Included come standard and balance semi-pre-soldered charge leads.

LRP have announced the soon release of their all-new Graphene 4 Competition Car LiPo high-performance LiPo battery packs. The batteries use newly developed Graphene 4 cells for higher capacity and further improved performance with Modified and Stock specific packs being available – the latter offering even more power for demanding stock racing classes. New for 2020 is also a new, darker sticker design while the iconic translucent blue cases remain the same as in 2019. The 2020 range will include three Modified specific standard-footprint packs such as the 6700mAh LCG, 5700mAh Ultra LCG and 5200mAh Hyper LCG battery. The Stock specific range includes a 9400mAh, 8100mAh, and 7400mAh standard as well as a 6100mAh LCG battery. As for the Shorty side of things LRP roll out 5900mAh and 4900mAh standard as well as a 4100mAh Stock LCG pack to which add 4600mAh and 4000mAh Modified LCG offerings. The first batch will hit stores beginning of February will full stock being expected for end of February.
