Serpent are reporting on the final, and title deciding round, of the South Swedish Indoor Championship (SSIC) that took place at the Malmö indoor track last weekend where the Serpent S400 of Team Serpent Sweden driver Niclas Nilsson enjoyed victory to become the overall Champion in Modified EP Touring. The weekend gone saw the best on road electric racers in America get together at the Hobby Town, Hobby Plex in Omaha, Nebraska for the ROAR Carpet Nationals. Le week-end passé a vu les meilleurs coureurs sur route électrique en Amérique se rassemblent à la Ville Hobby Hobby Plex à Omaha, au Nebraska pour le RAAR Tapis Nationals. The blue ribboned classes were the TC and 1/12th mod classes but there was many more classes supported at the this event in both scales. In Touring Mod, it was Xray racers Paul LeMieux and Barry Baker that were the men to beat throughout the event, qualifying 1 and 2 and then going on to take the top steps of the podium with Paul winning from Barry and Mike Dumas finishing in 3rd spot. Marc Fisher wins 1/12th German Nats Marc Fisher gagne 1/12e allemand Nats Categories - Electric, On Road, National, Racing - add a comment
The 1:12 German Nationals were held last weekend in Oldendorf, Germany and it was top Team Corally driver Marc Fischer that TQ’d and won the Modified National title with his SP12X. 1:12 Les ressortissants allemands se sont tenues le week-end dernier dans Oldendorf, de l'Allemagne et il a été top Team Corally conducteur Marc Fischer qui TQ'd et a remporté le titre national de mise à jour avec son SP12X. After coming home 2nd in leg 1 he took the win in the 2nd A-final by 5 seconds and in the 3rd A-final by 7 seconds to take the title ahead of Markus Mobers and Steven Weiss. Après le retour à la maison 2e étape 1, il a pris la victoire dans la 2e A-finale de 5 secondes et en 3e A-finale de 7 secondes pour prendre le titre d'avance sur Markus Mobers et Steven Weiss. In the stock class is was another Team Corally driver Jan Asmer that won the National title, beating TQ man Andre Efler to 2nd with Mike Niemann claiming 3rd. Dans le stock de classe est une autre équipe Corally Janvier Asmer pilote qui a remporté le titre national, en battant Andre Efler TQ homme à la 2ème avec Mike Niemann revendiquant 3rd.

Xray have a report from the Norwegian Indoor National Championships that were run last weekend for 1/10th Mod & 19T Touring and 1/12th scale at a venue in Stevneplassen, Skien. Xray ont un rapport de la National Indoor Championships norvégien qui ont été effectuées le week-end dernier pour 1/10ème Mod & 19T Touring échelle 1/12e et en un lieu à Stevneplassen, Skien. Modified qualifying saw Xray driver Helge Johannessen that claimed the top spot with 3 straight wins in the heats to line up in the A-main in front of Adrian Berntsen and Rune Karlsen. Mis à jour le pilote de qualification voyait Xray Helge Johannessen qui a coûté la première place avec 3 victoires dans les manches à s'aligner dans la A-main devant Adrian Berntsen et Rune Karlsen. Helge got a clean start in all three finals with Adrian behind but his Xray team mate hit a curb in all three finals giving him the gap needed to take the Championship ahead of Adrian with Kyosho racer Rune Karlsen in 3rd. Helge got a clean commencer dans les trois finales avec Adrian, mais derrière son coéquipier Xray touché un trottoir dans les trois finales de lui donner l'écart doit prendre le Championnat d'avance sur Adrian Kyosho racer avec Rune Karlsen en 3e. A Tamiya is guaranteed to start the second round of the Muchmore backed ETS in pole for tomorrow’s Modified A mains, but which driver it will be will not be decided until tomorrow morning’s final qualifier. Jilles Groskamp will officially represent Speed Passion for the remainder of the racing season. Jilles Groskamp va représenter officiellement Speed Passion pour le reste de la saison de course. In the pit area here at the 2nd round of the Much More backed ETS, the top International Tamiya driver confirmed to us that he has agreed a deal with Speed Passion to supply him with motors for the rest of the year. Serpent are reporting on the achievements of their South African team, which scored an important victory for the S400 as the three man Serpent squad of Dave Wiseman, Mike Wiseman and Tony D’ Oliviera took overall victory in the Nosram Six Series, an endurance series that takes in three 6 hour races run over a two month period. The first event at the tight Umhlanga Gateway Raceway, saw a tight fight right to the end, with the S400 car of Mike, Dave and Tony D’Oliviera, taking the win by just one lap, approx 16 seconds, after 6 hours of racing. Serpent have a report on their site from the first round of the Sao Paolo Championship held at the Sam’s Club track in Santo Andre, a city within Greater Sao Paulo, the State’s Capital. Serpent ont un rapport sur leur site de la première ronde du Championnat de Sao Paulo qui s'est tenue à la piste de Sam's Club, à Saint-André, une ville de Grand Sao Paulo, la capitale de l'État. The format saw each driver get just a single qualifying round followed by four heats, the best three of which determine the overall result. Le format de chaque conducteur a vu arriver un seul tour de qualification, suivie de quatre manches, les trois meilleurs de qui déterminent le résultat d'ensemble. Starting from pole the two first wins came easy for Serpent racer Felipe Franceschi but his team mate Thiago ‘Poldo’ Podolsky, although very fast, faced mechanical problems with the breakage of his front belt followed by the rear preventing him from getting a good score.
