ETS Andernach - Hara που επιβεβαιώνονται Categories - ETS, On Road, International, Racing - add a comment
Οι διοργανωτές της πολύ περισσότερης υποστηριγμένης ευρωπαϊκής να περιοδεύσουν σειράς, που βλέπει τον τελικό κύκλο της της 07/08 σειράς πραγματοποιούνται σε Andernach Γερμανία, έχουν επιβεβαιώσει ότι ο προηγούμενος παγκόσμιος πρωτοπόρος και νικητής Atsushi Hara φυλών του 2008 ο καλαμοειδής θα έρχονται να στρογγυλεψουν 4 στο 27$ο - το 29$ο του Ιουνίου. Ο ιαπωνικός δρομέας θα ενώνει άλλους επιβεβαιωμένους εισερχόμενους, Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp, Paul LeMieux, Hupo Honigl και πολύ περισσότερους.

Οι διοργανωτές της πολύ περισσότερης υποστηριγμένης ευρωπαϊκής να περιοδεύσουν σειράς, που βλέπει τον τελικό κύκλο της της 07/08 σειράς πραγματοποιούνται σε Andernach Γερμανία, έχουν επιβεβαιώσει ότι ο δρομέας Paul LeMieux αμερικανικών σούπερ σταρ θα έρχεται να στρογγυλεψει 4 στο 27$ο - το 29$ο του Ιουνίου. Paul ανυπομονεί να ταξιδεψει στην Ευρώπη στη φυλή ενάντια σε μερικούς από τους κορυφαίους οδηγούς στον κόσμο, προκειμένου να τον ενισχυθεί να προετοιμαστεί για τα επάνω ερχόμενα παγκόσμια πρωταθλήματα αργότερα το έτος αυτό στην Ταϊλάνδη. Paul υποστηρίζεται από την αμερικανική ακτίνα X και Hudy το διανομέα RC Αμερική καθώς επίσης και τριάδα, Protoform, Jaco και Futaba.

van Leuken & Eichhoorn κερδίζουν Π.Χ. Rd2 Categories - ETS, Round up, Off Road, National - comments closed
Ο 2$ος κύκλος του φλυτζανιού αδελφών του 2008 πραγματοποιήθηκε τελευταίο Σαββατοκύριακο στο Ομπερχάουσεν και ήταν ανοικτός για τις κατηγορίες αθλητικών τύπων και χόμπι. Η κατηγορία χόμπι κερδήθηκε μέχρι τις Eichhoorn του Ιαν. με Robert Walden στο 2$ο και Jean-Paul Appel 3ος, ενώ στην κατηγορία αθλητικών τύπων ήταν Jorg van Leuken που πήρε κερδίζει μπροστά από στρογγυλό 1 νικητή Jordy Velder στο δρομέα επάνω στο σημείο και Mark van Waayenburg σε 3ος.

European Touring Series - Round 4 Categories - ETS, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
4For the 4th and final round of the 2007/2008 Much More backed European Touring Series, the action moves to Germany and the Andernach track, close to Koblenz in the West of the country on the 27th - 29th of June. The organisers wanted to end this inaugural season with a big celebration, so as per the usual format, the racing will be open for Modified and Pro Stock classes, and this will be the main event, but as a sideshow and to create a relaxed party atmosphere there will be some side events for the competitors such as cage soccer or beach volleyball, or both. Along with having the best drivers from Europe participating, they are also expecting to have former World Champion Atsushi Hara as well as country mate Shin Adachi from Japan in attendance, and from the USA they are hoping to have top racer Paul LeMieux competing.
Pro Stock racers will receive the Speed Passion 9.5 Ultra Sportsman brushless motor included in their entry fee as well as 1 set of Much More control tires and a t-shirt, while Modified racers will also get the t-shirt as well as 2 sets of control tires. Entry closes on the 25th of June, but as a bonus for those that pay their entry fees prior to the 1st of June they will receive a great goodie bag containing lots of freebies from the event sponsors. As always the legendary Scotty Ernst will be doing the commentary, BBK will be handling the timing and Red RC will be reporting live from the event.

Groskamp & Spitteler take ETS Rd3 Categories - ETS, Electric, On Road, Racing - comments closed 
The 3rd round of the Much More backed Euro Touring series, held at the MACH circuit in Heemstede, The Netherlands is over and it was pole man Jilles Groskamp that took the overall win. Racing under spring sunshine, Groskamp was pushed hard in all rounds of the A-main but was able to wrap up the overall win after taking the first 2 legs. Despite having some run time issues on this big track, Marc Rheinard was able to clinch 2nd while Viktor Wilck could take 3rd to give Tamiya the complete podium. In the Super Stock class, it couldn’t have come to a more exciting climax with Jimmy Maddison taking the Leg 3 victory from George Spitteler but it was the latter that secured the overall win on tie break, with pole man Vasco Christiansse ending up 3rd.

Groskamp & Christiaanse TQ Dutch ETS Categories - ETS, Events, On Road, Racing - comments closed 
Jilles Groskamp and Vasco Christiaanse have secured the TQ for the latest round of the Much More backed Euro Touring Series which is taking place at the MACH track in the Netherlands this weekend. Racing in his backyard, Tamiya ace Groskamp won three of todays four heats thereby putting the pole position out of reach of his rivals. Toughest of those rivals is current Dutch National Vice-Champion Hugo Van der Berg who took victory in the second of the heats and is currently on target to line up on the front row with his fellow countryman. In Pro Stock Vasco Christiaanse appears to be the class of the field securing the pole with relative ease taking a hat trick of wins in the first three heats that allowed the Kyosho driver to sit out the day’s final qualifier and save his tyres for tomorrow’s final. Chris Van Der Hagen, at the controls of a Tamiya took the final heat win of the day to move into fourth in the overall qualifying standings behind Schumacher pairing Jimmy Maddison and Ronald Bestman.

ETS Round 4 in Austria Cancelled Categories - ETS, Events, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series have informed us that their 4th round, which was due to take place in Vienna Austria on the 9th - 11th of May, has had to be cancelled. Due to conflicts with other events on the same weekend in Austria, the host club were unable to hold this event on the same weekend and due to busy schedules there are no other options to move this round to another date. The plan is to race in Austria for the 2008-2009 series so the ETS will be happening in Vienna at some stage.
This weekends round 3 in the Netherlands is going ahead as usual and is looking to be a great race with some super quick drivers present and most importantly the weather is looking like it will be dry. The MACH track will be open all day Friday for practice, while for those racers that cant take time off on Friday and want to still race at this event, Saturday morning there is 2 more practice rounds before qualifying begins. The control tyre has also been confirmed for this weekends race and it will be Much More Sweep 32 tyres with Sweep Pink insert mounted on Sweep Rims.

ETS Holland - Viktor Wilck confirmed Categories - ETS, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The organisers of the 3rd round of the Much More backed European Touring series, that takes place at the World famous MACH track in Heemstede, just outside Amsterdam in the Netherlands on the 11th - 13th of April, are pleased to announce that with Viktor Wilck’s entry confirmed, the entire podium from both ETS Rd2 and the recent LRP Masters will be present at this round. Other confirmed entrants include German National Champion Marc Fischer, French National Champion Cyril N’Diaye, DHI Cup stock class winner Jimmy Maddison and ETS Rd2 stock class winner Nicolai Nielson.
