Renaud Savoya wins Lyon EFRA GP Renaud Savoya Lyon remporte GP EFRA Categories - Events, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The French EFRA GP for 1/8th scale buggies was run this weekend in St Exupery in the Lyon region. Les Français GP EFRA pour poussettes 1/8th échelle a été menée ce week-end à St Exupery dans la région lyonnaise. After qualifying it was Losi driver Yannick Aigoin that claimed the top qualifier spot but after the semi final it was Mugen driver Renaud Savoya that line up on pole position for the main final. Après il a été qualifiée Losi conducteur Yannick Aigoin qui a coûté la qualification top place, mais après la demi-finale, il a été pilote Mugen Renaud Savoya que s'aligner sur pole position pour la finale. Savoya eventually won the 45 minute by a few seconds in front of Kyosho driver Jerome Aigoin with Spanish driver Borja Hernandez almost a lap further back. Savoya finalement remporté la 45 minute en quelques secondes en face de Kyosho conducteur Jérôme Aigoin avec pilote espagnol Borja Hernandez presque un tour plus loin.

ETS Round 4 in Austria Cancelled STE ronde 4 en Autriche Annulé Categories - ETS, Events, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series have informed us that their 4th round, which was due to take place in Vienna Austria on the 9th - 11th of May, has had to be cancelled. Les organisateurs de la plus grande partie soutenu européenne série Touring nous ont informés que leur 4ème tour, qui devait avoir lieu à Vienne en Autriche le 9 - 11 Mai, a dû être annulé. Due to conflicts with other events on the same weekend in Austria, the host club were unable to hold this event on the same weekend and due to busy schedules there are no other options to move this round to another date. En raison de conflits avec d'autres événements sur le même week-end en Autriche, le club hôte n'ont pas été en mesure de tenir cet événement sur le même week-end et en raison d'horaires chargés, il n'existe pas d'autres options pour déplacer ce tour à une autre date. The plan is to race in Austria for the 2008-2009 series so the ETS will be happening in Vienna at some stage. This weekends round 3 in the Netherlands is going ahead as usual and is looking to be a great race with some super quick drivers present and most importantly the weather is looking like it will be dry. The control tyre has also been confirmed for this weekends race and it will be Much More Sweep 32 tyres with Sweep Pink insert mounted on Sweep Rims. Marc Rheinard wins 1/12th Europeans Marc Rheinard gagne 1/12e Européens Categories - Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The 2008 1/12th scale European Championships was run by the Speed League Racing club this weekend in Ingelstadt, Germany. Le 2008 échelle 1/12e Championnats d'Europe a été organisé par la Ligue Speed Racing club de ce week-end à Ingelstadt, en Allemagne. With just less than 100 racers signed in for the event, there was some quality drivers in the field and early on it looked like Marc Rheinard, using the Hot Bodies Cyclone 12, was the man to beat and he duly took the pole position in qualifying in front of fellow HB driver Ronald Volker, with Simo Ahoniemi rounding out the top 3. Germany wins in battle against Holland Allemagne gagne dans la bataille contre les Pays-Bas Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Last weekend at the Purmerend artificial surface track in the Netherlands was the revenge race of the Germany versus Holland event, that last year was taken by Holland. Le week-end dernier à la surface artificielle Purmerend voie aux Pays-Bas a été la revanche course de l'Allemagne contre les Pays-Bas état de cause, que l'an dernier, a été prise par les Pays-Bas. This years race was held under changing weather and some good drivers from both countries were in attendance to battle for their country’s pride. Cette année, la race a eu lieu sous des conditions météorologiques variables et quelques bons conducteurs des deux pays étaient présents pour leur combat pour la fierté du pays. The race saw some close fights throughout the field but in the end it was Daniel Reckward that took the win, followed closely by Tim Bremicker in 2nd while 3rd spot went to Marcell Guske and these positions were enough to give the win for Germany. La course a vu certains combats près dans tout le domaine, mais en fin de compte, il était Daniel Reckward qui a eu cette victoire, suivie de près par Tim Bremicker en 2ième place tout en 3ème sont allés à Marcell Guske et ces postes étaient suffisantes pour donner la victoire pour l'Allemagne.

Marc Rheinard wins the LRP Masters Marc Rheinard LRP remporte le Masters Categories - Events, Electric, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Tamiya factory driver, and former World Champion, Marc Rheinard has taken the LRP Masters title this weekend in Eppelheim, Germany. Tamiya usine pilote et ancien champion du monde, Marc Rheinard a pris le PRL Masters titre ce week-end à Eppelheim, Allemagne. Qualifying for the Masters class saw the pole position also go to the German racer who placed his TRF416 ahead of his 2 team mates, Viktor Wilck from Sweden and Jilles Groskamp from Holland, with last years winner De qualification pour la Masters classe a vu la pole position vont également au coureur allemand qui TRF416 placé son avance sur ses 2 coéquipiers, Viktor Wilck de la Suède et Jilles Groskamp des Pays-Bas, vainqueur dernières années Juho Levanen Juho Levanen in 4th. en 4ème. The finals saw a dominant performance by the pole man, Marc taking the win in the frst 2 finals to claim the overall title before the last round of finals were run.
