Xray are reporting on their site from the first round of the Xray Challenge which was held on last weekend at Banwol Race Park near Seoul, Korea. The final race of the 2008 1/12th National series was run last weekend by the Chesterfield Auto Racing Society, who were celebrating their 25th anniversary as a National Host this year. Some brief news from the Canadian Winternationals that were held recently in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. LeMieux & Dumas take US Carpet titles LeMieux & Dumas die US-Teppich-Titel Categories - Events, Electric, On Road, National, Racing - 2 comments
The weekend gone saw the best on road electric racers in America get together at the Hobby Town, Hobby Plex in Omaha, Nebraska for the ROAR Carpet Nationals. Das Wochenende gegangen war die beste auf der Straße Elektro-Rennfahrer in den USA gemeinsam in der Stadt Hobby, Hobby Plex in Omaha, Nebraska für die ROAR Nationals Teppich. The blue ribboned classes were the TC and 1/12th mod classes but there was many more classes supported at the this event in both scales. The 1:12 German Nationals were held last weekend in Oldendorf, Germany and it was top Team Corally driver Marc Fischer that TQ’d and won the Modified National title with his SP12X. 1:12 Der deutsche Staatsangehörige wurden am vergangenen Wochenende in Oldendorf, Deutschland, und es war Anfang Corally Team Fahrer Marc Fischer, dass TQ'd und gewann den Titel Geändert National mit seiner SP12X. After coming home 2nd in leg 1 he took the win in the 2nd A-final by 5 seconds and in the 3rd A-final by 7 seconds to take the title ahead of Markus Mobers and Steven Weiss. Nach Hause kommen und 2. Xray have a report from the Norwegian Indoor National Championships that were run last weekend for 1/10th Mod & 19T Touring and 1/12th scale at a venue in Stevneplassen, Skien. Xray haben einen Bericht von der norwegischen National Indoor Championships, die am letzten Wochenende für run 1:10 Mod & Touring 19T und 1/12th scale an einem Ort in Stevneplassen, Skien. Modified qualifying saw Xray driver Helge Johannessen that claimed the top spot with 3 straight wins in the heats to line up in the A-main in front of Adrian Berntsen and Rune Karlsen. The first round of the Belgian 1/10th scale EP on road Nationals was run last weekend indoor in Charleroi. The event had 38 drivers in two classes, EFRA and 19 turn, and they were presented with a very fast but also technical track to contend with. After a tough battle in the EFRA class, it was Olivier Bultynck with his Corally Phi who took the win in front of Xray driver Benoit Thomaes in 2nd, while the 3rd spot went to Demsey Jacob driving a Tamiya 416. The Opening round of the Spanish 1/10th 200mm National Championships was run last weekend at the RC Club Santa Oliva in the east of Spain. Die Eröffnungsrundgang der spanischen 1:10 200mm National Championships wurde am vergangenen Wochenende an der RC Club Santa Oliva im Osten von Spanien. The race was held in dry conditions and after qualifying it was Eduardo Escandon that took the pole position ahead of Josue Artiles in 2nd and Ramon Guash 3rd. Das Rennen fand bei trockenen Bedingungen und nach dem Qualifying war es Eduardo Escandon, die die Pole-Position vor Josue Artiles in 2. und 3. Ramon Guash. The beginning of the final saw a good start for Martin Sevilla, who moved into the lead early on with pole man Escandon having some problems and dropping down the order. Der Beginn der abschließenden war ein guter Start für Martin Sevilla, die sich in der Spitze früh mit Mast Mann Escandon mit einigen Problemen und Ablegen die Reihenfolge. A steady beginning from Juanito Hidalgo saw him move up the order to take the lead from Sevilla around the 10 minute mark and then proceeded to pull out a lap lead by the end of the race, taking the win from Ramon Guash in 2nd with Jonnhy Pastor in 3rd, a further 2 laps back.
