Xray are carrying a report on their site from their team driver Jon Hazlewood that outlines in detail his super busy and successful 2006 off road race season. Its a good read that outlines the ups and downs of a top RC racer.
The world’s was a good event for me. I managed to qualify into the semi’s. I won my side and made it into the main final. | was very happy to achieve this. Unfortunately my motor eat half the track and stopped working, ending my final. I was still very pleased with the result. Making the main at a Worlds is so hard.

Top Singaporean driver, and all round nice guy, Sam Cheng has taken top honours at the Singapore Open Championships driving his Xray XB8 ahead of team mate Glenn Phuah with young driver Ah M in third. Sam is an experienced International driver in on-road racing too and a real RC enthusiast as well as being distributor for many brands in his home country.
Towards the end of the finale, somehow luck was with Sam that allowed him to pull away a little ahead that put him ONE lap ahead and took away the A Main 1st trophy!

Indoor Holland 2007 cancelled Categories - Events, Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
It seems that the hugely popular Indoor Holland race that took place for 1/8th scale off roaders will not be run next year after the organisers failed to find a suitable replacement venue for the event.
The statement from the organisers site -
Dear sponsors and participants of Indoor Holland,. With regret we inform you that there will be no Indoor Holland 2007 race. Looking for a new location was needed for several reasons. Indoor Holland organisation could not succeed to find a new location nearby the current location. Therefore we have to skip the Indoor Holland 2007 race. The past 5 years we could not achieve the high standard of racing at Indoor Holland without your support. We hope to have all things sorted out for 2008 and come back then stronger then ever before and hope we can rely on your support again.
