Hot Bodies racer Olly Jefferies has taken FTD and the win at round 1 of the CML Carpet Masters held last weekend. Hot Bodies racer Olly Jefferies a pris FTD et la victoire au round 1 de la LMC Tapis Masters tenue le week-end dernier. Olly recently switched to Hot Bodies and had considerable success so far, taking FTD at every event raced along with winning round 1 of the Carpet Thrashnals and now this win. Since getting my Cyclone I have been concentrating on carpet racing in preparation for the forthcoming GP Carpet World Cup in Geneva at the end of the month, the car feels really good on carpet and easy to tune, I am also feeling more comfortable with every meeting with the new car and really looking forward to the Geneva meeting. Team Orion have a report on their site about Team Associated team racer Ryan Cavalieri winning last weekends Wisconsin Off-Road Championships held at S&N’s Trackside Hobbies and Raceway. The race format consisted of 4 rounds of qualifying, with the points from the best two rounds determining the single A-main starting order. Ryan was the man to beat; taking top qualifying honors in both the 2wd Modified Buggy and Modified Truck classes. Daniel Tomaschko has won the 2006 ‘AMT Cup Friedrichshafen’ held last weekend alongside a hobby fair, at the Bodensee Friedrichshafen in southern Germany. Pro-Z.com have a photo report from the PN Mini-Z World Cup that was held at the RC Madness track in Connecticut in the last weekend of October. There are some pretty wicked looking Mini-Z’s there and some that don’t even resemble one at all, like this all carbon version with Group C body above. Last weekend saw the Team Orion Cup run in the town of Zillisheim in France. Le week-end dernier a vu la Coupe du Team Orion courir dans la ville de Zillisheim en France. This annual international race was won by Finnish racer Simo Ahoniemi driving his Corally RDX prototype. Cette course annuelle internationale a été remportée par Simo Ahoniemi coureur finlandais volant de son prototype RDX Corally. Second place, and also driving Corally RDX prototype was Marc Fischer from Germany with the final place on the podium going to another German racer racer Toni Rheinard racing the Kyosho Stallion. Now, if you haven’t yet had your fill of off road buggies, here is a video from Robin Frischkopf from the 5th round of the Swiss Championships held back in September. Apart from the not very appealing country/rock music its a pretty good video, made at what seems to be a very rough track. As we Comme nous reported Signalés yesterday Xray/RB racer Yannik Aigoin has won the GP International De Pierrefeu held in France. Hier Xray / RB Yannik Aigoin coureur a remporté le GP International De Pierrefeu lieu en France. This international event attracted over 110 racers and saw the European Champion win by two laps ahead of a close battle for 2nd place between Julian Lattanzio and Renaud Savoya. Cet événement international a attiré plus de 110 coureurs et champion d'Europe a vu la victoire par deux tours d'avance sur une étroite bataille pour la 2e place entre Julien et Renaud Savoya Lattanzio. After 45 minutes only 2 tenths of a second seperated the two drivers and in the end it was Julian that took the position with Renaud in third. Après 45 minutes seulement 2 dixièmes de seconde séparaient les deux conducteurs et à la fin, il était Julian qui a pris la position en troisième avec Renaud.
